Tariq j Posted January 15, 2024 Posted January 15, 2024 A Rebel Friend set would be great. You could even include a mini "Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga" plaque or something as well. I rewatched Rogue One over Christmas and I think it would be nice to have some more sets. We got two solid waves back in 2016/17 when the was film was released but nothing since then. AT-ACT: Imperial Pliots (x2), Baze Malbus, Scarif Troopers (x2) and Pao. Zeta-Class heavy cargo shuttle: Supplied we didn't get this the first time round! Would probably include Bohdi Rook, Stondon Tonc, Jon Erso (disguised as Imperial), Cassington Andor (disguised as well) and everyone's favourite: K2SO. Blue Leader's X-Wing: I imagine this would be similar to the 2020 X-Wing. Would include: Blue Leader Anton Merrick (obviously ), Farns Monsbee, R2-SHW and Mon Mothma. U-Wing: Bistan, Rebel Troopers (x2), U-Wing Pilot and Stormtroopers (x2). Would probably be a remake of the 2016 set. AT-ST: Again a remake of the 2016 version but with a slightly different kine up of minifigures. Chirrut, AT-ST pilot and Saw Gerrera. Krennic's Shuttle: The OG is near perfect for me. But this time I would include: Krennic, Tarkin, Galen Erso and Death Troopers (x2). Hammerhead Corvette: Kado Oquone, Rebel Troopers (x2), Admiral Raddus and General Draven. Quote

Evil Republic gunship ($149.99- black gunship with blue highlights): Evil captain rex (black and red armor, inverted Jag eyes), 2x Evil Clone trooper (Black armor. Under the helmets, they look nothing alike), Evil Ahsoka Tano (black robes, taller top montrals), Good Grievous (just a normal minifig of his Kaleesh form), Dexter Jettster holding a non-star wars gun. Evil X-wing vs good TIE fighter ($109.99): Black and blue X-wing and white and yellow TIE fighter. Comes with Evil Pilot Luke (green flight suit with blue imperial cogs on black pilot helmet), Evil Leia (black robes), Evil Han Solo (black shirt with white jacket, dark red pants), Good TIE Pilot (white armor), Good Boba Fett (holiday special armor). Evil Luke's Landspeeder ($29.99): dark blue and dark green landspeeder with Evil Farmboy Luke (black tunic with snow printed on instead of sand), Evil R2-D2 (exactly the same as normal R2-D2), Evil Jawa (black robe, red eyes). Moustache Rebel's snowspeeder ($39.99): Moustache Rebel's snowspeeder (with a large moustache built on front) with Moutsache rebel, Jek Porkins 2, and 2x snowtrooper (2003 era design) Rebel Friend's speeder ($14.99): 2008 rebel combat speeder remake but with only one fig, Rebel Friend, and a minikit build. I feel like you could do a “I hate sand” diorama to go along with the joke wave. Consisting of a few hundred yellow 1x1 studs. Quote
MaximillianRebo Posted January 16, 2024 Posted January 16, 2024 The rumoured Death Star set, along with the quirkiness of the summer wave, makes me want a Death Star set in the style of the old Kenner cardboard set. Of course it won't happen because a) we already have a fully spherical Death Star so who would want a hemispherical set, and b) apparently one of the reasons the Cloud City set wasn't a big hit was because it's hemispherical layout made display difficult. Anyway, it would be a fun nostalgia throwback. 18 hours ago, Tariq j said: U-Wing: Bistan, Rebel Troopers (x2), U-Wing Pilot and Stormtroopers (x2). Would probably be a remake of the 2016 set. I would say our last chance of a Uwing could be with Andor S2 if they release sets to go with it. I just can’t see Lego with the amount of content that’s get made and revisiting eps I-IX every couple of years I just don’t see room for a new rogue one wave. Unless U wings appear in a future Ahsoka series or in Filonis film as like a new republic u wing otherwise I don’t know Quote

ArrowBricks Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 (edited) Inspired by the 25th anniversary lineup, here’s my extremely premature wish list for 2029 to celebrate 30 years of Lego Star Wars. I have focused on iconic ships, vehicles and scenes. Each set will have an exclusive, never released, and unlikely to be released minifigure. This is except Starkiller; I just could not ignore him. The only controversial part of this list is the lack of Sequel love. But I’m hoping the 10 year anniversary of these respective movies will give us representation. Pretty sure the character designs for our main characters are similar to season 2 so it might work out as a savvy move. More people will tune in for the finale of the series, I hope. Crosshair maybe returning in his old attire could make it work, too. Something with Imperial Commando’s and TK Troopers and I am happy. This would work similar to how they’ve done Mando S3 sets in the context of arm building Mando’s and Imperial units (SuperCommando’s, Pretorian Guards). Edited February 11, 2024 by ArrowBricks Quote
Lordhelmet Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 I think Lego should have the last diorama set (hopefully many years away since the line is awesome) of the end scene of the Empire Strikes Back. It would be a large wall with the window looking at a giant print (or sticker) of the galaxy and maybe a transport and y wing or the falcon flying off. Mini figs would be R2, 3PO, Luke, Leia, and 21B. There would be a small medical area and the quote on the front would be "May the Force Be With You.. (roar)". Would be a cool way to end the theme, plus there would be a killer print (or sticker) with the same style window from the meditation chamber just bigger. Neither of those Luke or Leia figures has been made either so they would be new versions. This would be my ideal diorama theme line up with a six year total run (hoping for seven or more years, and more than one per year) 2022- (3) Death Star Trench, Jedi Training, Trash Compactor 2023- (2) Throne Room, Endor 2024- (1) Podrace (wish we had a second) 2025 - (3) Mustafar Duel (20th), Jabbas Palace, and Kylo Rey forest duel (10 year) - I would be good losing the force awakens set but wanted something to round it out 2026 - (2) Darth Maul Duel, and Executor command bridge 2027 - (3) Obi duel with Vader on Death Star (50th), Either lars homestead or falcon cockpit going to light speed (50th), closing scene from Empire on nebulon B (August/September release) Quote

Kit Figsto Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 Since we're getting another $150 location playset, I have a few other ideas for future ones: Cloud City (think the MBS but about half of the size). Includes the dining room, landing pad, carbon freezing chamber, a section of hallway, a small junk room (also doubling as the room where C-3PO gets shot), and dueling platforms. Comes with a midi-scale Slave I. Minifigures are Lando, Boba Fett, Darth Vader, 2 Stormtroopers, Luke, Leia (dinner scene), Han, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, and a Bespin guard. Theed Palace. I'm thinking a two-level build with the upstairs containing the throne room with window ledges outside for figures to pose on, a stairway/hall section, and then downstairs is a hangar bay and dueling area. Includes a midi-scale Naboo fighter and docking area. Minifigures are Nute Gunray, Queen Amidala, Sio Bibble, Captain Panaka, Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, young Anakin, Darth Maul, 2 Theed Palace Guards, a Naboo pilot, 4 regular battle droids, 2 security battle droids, and a battle droid commander. Kamino. Includes Jango's apartment, a hallway section, landing pad, the room where Obi-Wan meets the Kaminoans, and an area with the cloning facility/barracks. Includes a midi-scale Slave I. Minifigures are Obi-Wan, Jango Fett, Boba Fett, Taun We, Lama Su, R5-D4, 5x clones, and one clone in the red uniform. Quote
OtherRGIII Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 It baffles me that there wasn’t a Duel of the Fates Phantom Menace diorama this year for the 25th. I realize there was a “fight” play set, but that was awhile ago and now we have the perfect theme for famous scenes. Could be the length of degobah (so slightly wider base) then a cut out halway w/ door using trans red pieces that slide, and right side is cut out of the final room. You could set up Obi Wan behind the doors, watching Qui Gon; could set him up inside the small half circle shaft (cut out so you can see in from side) using a mall rod to grip; could set it up Qui Gon meditating while Maul seethes; or could set it up w/ dead Gui Gon and Maul falling down shaft in half (use some clear rods connecting to holes in the shaft—same pieces could potentially set up Obi Wan jumping instead, using different connections for the rod). I've finally managed to get a better hold on my workload and am able to finish up the lego project I've been working on for... about a half a year now, I guess. Point being, I've got a couple projects lined up, and I need a suggestion as to which I should do first- Each would be a full wave, here's a sample: Ahsoka Wave: Microfighter: Ahsoka's Jedi Shuttle ($12.99): Ahsoka Tano Smallest set: Bandit Attack ($9.99): Howler and rock with Sabine Wren (hair) and a Bandit. Battle Pack: Night Troopers ($19.99): E-web and rocky terrain with 3x night trooper, 1x night death trooper Standard set: Sabine Wren's homestead ($37.99): Sabine Wren's speeder and a small duel area with an elevator feature up ~6 bricks to Sabine's room with helmets, map, etc. Comes with Sabine Wren (no armor), Shin Hati, 2x HK-87 droid, and a Loth Cat. Standard set: Morgan Elsbeth's shuttle ($59.99): Shuttle fits 4-5 figs. Comes with Morgan Elsbeth, navigator droid, Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati, and Sabine Wren. Large set: Ahsoka Tano's T-6 Jedi Shuttle ($139.99): A MUCH larger Ahsoka's shuttle with a 2-3 seater cockpit and interior with removable table that can be stored in a compartment. Comes with Ahsoka Tano (white robe), Huyang, Sabine Wren (armor), Sabine Wren (training), Ahsoka Tano (grey robe), Ezra Bridger. 25th Anniversary Wave 2: Microfighter: The Azure Angel ($12.99): Anakin Skywalker (clone wars 2003) Smallest set: Rebel Combat Speeder ($9.99): Rebel Fleet Trooper, 25th anniversary minifigure Rebel Friend. Includes a minikit. Battle Pack: Clone Spec Ops ($19.99): AT-RT with ARF Trooper, Clone Sniper, Clone Commando, and a 25th anniversary 2003 ARC Trooper. Standard set: Exogol ($49.99): Sith Throne and Omnic Harness with the Eternal Emperor, Palpatine (omnic harness), Rey, Ben Solo, and 25th anniversary Darth Momin. Standard set: TIE Phantom ($69.99): TIE Pilot, 2x Shadow Trooper, Emperor Palpatine, and 25th anniversary figure Mara Jade. Large set: Stinger Mantis ($149.99): Interior cockpit (seats all 3), mission select table, living area, kitchen, and workshop. Comes with Cal Kestis, Cere Junda, Nightsister Merrin, Greez Ditruis, Second Sister, 2x Purge Trooper, and 25th anniversary figure Dagan Gera. The other one I've been considering is the bounty hunter ships Hound's Tooth, Punishing One, etc, which wouldn't be a traditional wave due to, you know, none of them fitting retail price points under $70 or so. CW S7 Figs: Coruscant overalls Ahsoka and the Martel sisters. CW S7 Features: small landing pad and a model of the droid that went rogue during the arc. BB S2 Figs: Captain Rex (plain clothes), Senator Riyo Chichi and the clone assassin. BB S2 Features: Sniper ledge for Clone assassin. Jedi Survivor Figs: Cal Kestis, Stormtrooper and Scout trooper. Jedi Survivor Features: Roof Tops look like the game. Other Figs: 5 other assorted Coruscant citizens. Quote

I’m sure you’ll come up with better ideas for verticality. I would like to see you think outside the box with mid-scale ships. Mid-Scale V-19 Torrent, Mid-scale Dryden Vos’s Yacht etc. Quote
CloneCommando99 Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 My hopes for next year’s battlepack. Either one of these as I’ve had enough of the clones and want to build up my empire. Imperial army battlepack (based off Andor): 2 helmeted imperial army troopers, 1 officer cap imperial army trooper and a stormtrooper. Build would be one of those speeders with the mounted machine guns from Andor S1 finale. Imperial Death Star Security battlepack: 2 stormtroopers, a Death Star trooper and a very low ranking officer (preferably ISB) It would be an add on to the upcoming Death Star playset. So probably a small hallway build. Jedi Fallen Order/ Jedi Survivor imperial battlepack: 1 Scout trooper, 1 scout trooper commander, one stormtrooper commander and a purge trooper. Build would be a checkpoint and a DT sentry droid. (Would include multiple differently coloured pauldrons for customisation and 2 riot shields and shock batons for the scout troopers.) Ideally the pauldrons would be made from a new plastic material akin to the doctor strange cloak. Which of these ideas would you guys prefer and which do you think is most likely? Quote
