If the rumours for the R2 KT set are indeed true, I will have to bid farewell to my hopes of dreams of a stormtrooper battlepack in January. Do I accept my defeat at the hands of the Clone Bros and the Night trooper legion? Nay! It is time for plan B.

Imperial Army Trooper Battlepack (£19.99): 2 Helmeted Imperial Army Troopers, a capped Army Trooper and a Stormtrooper. Build would be the patrol speeder from Andor S1 finale. This would of course tie-in with Andor S2 which will release next year.

Lego Legends Minifigure pack (£12.99): Old Jek-14, Adult Rowan Freemaker and Maul face-paint Yoda.

I would only like to see that BP if the Army Troopers have their visors down (like the Mudtroopers in Solo). This may be an oddly specific complaint, but I don’t like the idea of Imperial troopers casually showing their faces. The anonymity and facelessness (and the fear factor that entails) are the entire point!

I actually love the visorless army troopers in andor. It helps show them off as people more, and serves to make the stormtroopers seem more threatening with the contrast of their faces being completely hidden. It also fits with the old legends idea that stormtroopers were elite shock troops (something later legends material and canon would both pretty much stomp on), and your average joe imperial was just an army/navy trooper.
