I want to agree with you here, but like Commando said, it's been confirmed that the OG Rebels sets did poorly. Whether that was because of the source material or poor set choices (*coughcough*) is debatable.

I for one would love more Rebels sets, but LEGO doesn't do sets from old shows that often.

I mean, a new Star Wars show didn't hurt. The Ghost v2 is an Ahsoka set, not a Rebels one. A small technicality, but one worth mentioning.

Speaking of ARF Troopers, I really wish LEGO'd bring them back. I really want new Shadow ARFs, not just for the utter poodooshow that would ensue amongst scalpers, but because I actually want a small squad of them.

I was about to create an OT list, but saw yours. I especially love the ITT, Patrol Gunship, and the Turbo Laser Turret. 

I think all 3 would be fantastic to go alongside the current rebel/imperial army stuff. (Yavin, Scout Speeder BP, Tantive)

Since the Rebuild the Galaxy range has demonstrated that Lego's offerings aren't limited to canon TV shows/films, it would be wonderful to get a couple of sets covering the highlights of the old Legends-era books. Not a huge range - just enough to finally get some of the heavyweights of that era in Lego form.

Honestly, they could even repackage the standard ships to make half the range still appeal to non-book fans.

Imagine a Stealth-X instead of the usual X-Wing - the same basic ship, but with a new colour scheme and figs of Jaina Solo and Kyle Katarn

And imagine if the next edition of the Millennium Falcon contained an older Han and Leia, as well as Anakin and Jacen Solo

They could also lean into the fan-service with the Wild Karrde, giving us Mara Jade and Talon Karrde (as well as Luke Skywalker for the non-book fans - and possibly Grand Admiral Thrawn as well)

I personally really want an Octa Ramis minifig somehow, but I can't even conjure up enough copium to somehow figure that one out

The Ghost remake is also an Ahsoka show set. LEGO also expected the Ahsoka show to do well.

Some Force Unleashed sets would be so cool

Here's my pitch for a Star Wars CMF, largely inspired by the customisation potential of the D&D Series, most of these would include multiple head pieces.

Trying to hit all the iconic visuals of Star Wars without using any main characters, the idea would be that you could get duplicates of each and swap them around to fill out your universe.

1. Rebel/Resistance Agent (Human Male + Female):
   • Blaster, BB Unit
2. ISB Officer (Human Male + Female):
   •  Datapad, Interrogation droid
3. Jedi Knight (Lasat + Quarren):
   • Jedi Holocron, Lightsaber w/ blue + yellow blades
4. Jedi Apprentice (Human Male + Female):
   • Jedi Texts, Lightsaber w/ green + purple blades
5. Adventurer (Pantoran Male + Female):
   • BD Unit, satchel, binoculars
6. Outlaw (Twi'lek Male + Female):
   • Camtono, blaster. Sabacc card
7. Nightsister (Dathomiri Female):
   • Green flames, bow & arrow, dagger
8. Sith Warrior (Pau'an + Duros Males):
   • Sith Holocron, Lightsaber
9. Senator (Neimoidian + Bothan):
   • Drink, Holoprojector (translucent microfig)
10. Pilot (Rodian + Nautolan):
    • Cargo crate, small Anzellan piece (think Baby Groot)
11. Mandalorian (Male + Female):
    • Blaster, jetpack, thermal detonator

That’s actually a really good idea. I take it that you play Star Wars 5e? Would the Jedi Knight have CW armour printing?

Hadn't heard of 5e before, I'm not really a D&D player, I just liked the way they approached the cmf series with the bonus heads.

Definitely an interesting idea, but the Mandalorian one would be difficult, since their armor is dimorphic (thinner visors for one).

Love the Jedi and ISB ones especially.

They'd need different helmets, but some of the Mandalorian TV show mandalorians have a chestplate design that appears to be the same between both genders of mando.
