Jipay Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Well to me it has always looked tan... Weird thing Quote
jonfett Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 Perhaps Luminari has a human sort of appearence so she has peachy skin but, when the photo which Sam showed us was taken she was feeling ill so she looked slightly green. This means the lego figure should be peach not green as she is usually peach and only green when feeling sick?! ;) Jon. Quote
ApophisV Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 Dudes, can't you see that she has a green-greyish yellow tone??? Quote
sam89 Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 Dudes, can't you see that she has a green-greyish yellow tone??? I seem to be the only one ;) Quote
ApophisV Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 The skin tone actually reminds me of 3 days old cooked eggs..... :D Quote
Brickmaster Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 i really cant see any sort of greein the fig.It does seem a different tone from regular peach skin tones. it really does seem like a "3 days old cooked eggs" color. i wouldnt have thought of that though. Quote
Orlego Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 The real pic has the green tone, but the fig looks peach/tan. Quote
sam89 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 It looks like the "3 day old eggs" colour to me too, a sort of yellowy-green colour. It definitely doesn't look like regular peach to me, but we'll just have to wait and see. Quote
Jipay Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 The skin tone actually reminds me of 3 days old cooked eggs..... :D Ive never experienced this kind of thing so I can't conform Quote

Lord Thrawn Posted January 26, 2005 Posted January 26, 2005 Ha yes. I'm not THAT pleased with Vader, but I suppose he is OK. I like the new 'none eyebrowed' version, though. Quote
Kaminoan Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Hello all, I have created a ton of new designs that I would like some input and as I am new here I think these are the best to show first. They can be seen here: http://www.fineclonier.com/Frame.htm under the work in progress tab. There are three pages so please look through all of them. Just to tempt you: Thanks, hope you enjoy them. Jared To help out here are direct links to my new creations: http://www.fineclonier.com/WIP.shtml http://www.fineclonier.com/WIP2.shtml http://www.fineclonier.com/WIP3.shtml Quote

Orlego Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Great work Kaminoan!!! I love your figs. :-D Quote
Kaminoan Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Thanks everyone for the comments. I have been working on these guys for some time and I will probably start the KOTOR 2 folks soon. Sarg, to answer your question I use water slide decals. I have a very special printer that is no longer in production in the US (Long story short the patent was sold to OKI who now quadrupled the price and only sells it in Asia). This printer allows me to print in silver, gold and white as well as the traditional CMYK. So I use a vector art program, Corel Draw, to create the designs and I print and apply the decals much like model decals. If you want to know more drop me an email. Fineclonier@gmail.com Thanks again Jared Quote

Wolf04 Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 Now, I'm 100% sure those pictures are NOT fake. :P So many plates.... :oo It doesn't look quite good enough though. Not sphereish enough. And what's up with the green things? Is that supposed to be some sort of a beam? It just looks like a bunch of plates put together. I think the only good thing out of it is the piece count. EDIT: Woah, in index, all of the Star Wars sets are listed but no Sandcrawler. :/ Quote
The Middleman Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 Well at least we know the Sandcrawler's coming, then? Quote
