xwingyoda Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 I never see dubbed version of movies, you lack so much details...(they are so *sick* !!!!!) "Seen", Jipay? you can say that, I have them in DVD and I watch them over and over again (like SW)!! Austin powers rules!!!! :-D Quote
The Middleman Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 I only have downloaded versions of the Star Wars movies, since I don't have a VHS player, and I absolutely refuse to buy the Star Wars collection with all the obscenities Lucas loaded into it. (Jar Jar at the end of RotJ, anyone? *sick* ) Quote

(Jar Jar at the end of RotJ, anyone? *sick* ) Yep this version of ROTJ really sucks *sick* . Dear old George really went too far in his "visions of what the OT shoul look like". Come on, changing Bobba and the Emperors voices, adding a LOT of stupid CGIs, putting Anakin at the end (I don't get it, Anakin and Vader are two different persons right :-D ). Quote
The Middleman Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 What he should have done is raised the cost and included BOTH. Too bad he's a retard. Quote
sam89 Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 The European price is now on S@H: http://shop.lego.com/product.asp?p=10143&cn=4&d=5&t=3 It's the same as the ISD, as expected. Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Thanks for the info Sam, I guess I have to put money away for this baby ;) Quote
chewie Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 yeah its cool set but i think i would only buy it for pieces but then again it would be cool on display too! ;) Quote
snefroe Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 wow!! 369 euro!!! that's a lot of money... i'll settle for a second ISD, thanks very much... Master Yoda, if this is your idea of a baby... well... you are a little green smurf anyway... and you live in a swamp... in a place you can hardly call a hut... perhaps this is your idea of a baby :P i believe the release date is also a recent addition (even though we knew): 30 september: so it's probably TLC's opening shot for the high season this year... Quote
chewie Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 can you still get the imperial star destroyer? now that is a good looking set Quote
snefroe Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 sure you can... however, i don't think it will be for much longer... so I'm gambling a bit. i don't need the ship right now, so i'm postponing my purchase... at one point I might be too late... so be it... then i'll buy 2 crawlers instead... Quote
chewie Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 true i doubt i will have 300 to spend on one set i would rather buy a bunch of different one including that sandcrawler ;) :-D Quote
The Middleman Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Those crawlers better be effing GIGANTIC. I just hope half the piece count isn't in just treads. Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 I guess those treads will take a lot of pieces: 4 treads, maybe around 50 or 60 per tread......Its going to be fun to build those ;) Quote
chewie Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 oh yeah it will be fun but take such a loooong time Quote
snefroe Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 I believe master yoda told us there are 69 pieces (treads) in the wookie attack; 4 x 69= 276 pieces of a 1500 pieces set Quote
chewie Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 wow that will be big is this sapose to be like the death star like a big display set or will it be like a set to play with? Quote
snefroe Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 it's with minifigs... check out this topic from the beginning and you'll know as much as all the rest... Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 I believe master yoda told us there are 69 pieces (treads) in the wookie attack; 4 x 69= 276 pieces of a 1500 pieces set Correct my young padawan, learned your pieces lesson have you :-D ;) Seriously I doubt that the treads will be as big: my guess is 240 pieces! (new game, guess how many pieces will the treads have :-D ) Quote
chewie Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 ok let me go let me go let me go *jumps with excitment* um lets say 240 i do realize i said exactley what xwingyoda said Quote
chewie Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 or not.................... im only kiddin its your choice ;) but im still guessing 240 Quote
snefroe Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 Master Yoda's wisdom is beyond comprehension... he's probably right: 240 links is quite a lot already. Much depends on the size of the crawler... btw, master yoda, the lesson i learned was to use a calculator in future :P Quote

Much depends on the size of the crawler...btw, master yoda, the lesson i learned was to use a calculator in future :P What did the green jedi master (me) do again, snefroe1 :'( ....................... :-D Beyond comprehension??????? The droid tank thing has effectively a total of 69 pieces for its unique tread. The sandcrawler has 4 much smaller treads. I think that its size shall be equivalent to the AT-AT (or smaller because its mainly made of bricks and not plates). Therefore it is improbable that each tread will be the same dimension as the droid one. That is my reasonning for the number of 240 pieces. Is that beyond comprehension? ;) ......Yoda wisdom s always beyond reproach :P :-D BTW, I never said you did not know to count there buddy :-D :P Quote
