My guess, blue like always (I don't know why they always use this useless colour? Is it cheaper to have blue bricks instead of grey...)

Did you ever get the ISD? About 90% of the interior was black/gray, with only a few scattered blue/red pieces.

That's good news ;)

No I don't have my ISD yet (I'll wait for my bday, need funds)

Get the DSII instead! Blay over gray - gray is done with.

Arggggggg too many sets this year *devil*

Thanks for my salary, that will take care of the rest ;)

I'm putting the sandcrawler and DSII on my birthday list, buying the Vikings with my own money, same with Harry Potter and the second Ep. III wave. The 2006 first wave of sets go on my Christmas list, when I find out what they are. SO MANY GOOD SETS!

Actually I like the official Lego one much better (no offense meant to the builder of the MOC, of course, just respectfully disagreeing). The MOC contains some nice ideas, but it looks too spindly. And the Lego version has a much more appealing stance... body tilted slightly forward, center of gravity shifted back on to the heels with a nice "dog-leg" feeling.

Now if only they would design a new AT-ST using the same philosophy....

I had some parts left after building DS2. I found this hint: http://www.fbtb.net/sets/index.asp?set=10143 ("secret ship")

Seems I could build a ship with this. Hmm. The green parts are very green (not very typical for SW LEGO, especially mini models).

If I look at some pictures (instructions, package) I see there are some differences in the lower half. The transition between the finished and the un-finished side is different. Maybe the LEGO designer changed his mind?

We all know these very little parts (1x1 etc.) LEGO adds to the packages so you can replace vacuumed parts... But this time there are quite big parts and more than one.

What did you do with those parts?

PS: Sandcrawler had one bigger part included which was left over, too. But that time it surely was a mistake by LEGO (compare thread "PHOTO REVIEW: 10144 Sandcrawler").

Okay, I just finished assembling my Death Star II UCS set and the whole thing started leaning slightly towards the "unfinished" side almost from when I started. Now that it's finished, it's still leaning a barely perceptable ammount.

So....

Is anyone else having this problem? Are you terrified that thing will decide to just randomly tip over a couple months from now?

Although I suppose if it's too bad I can get in there with some spare technic pieces and beef up the central spire abit nuts.GIF
