The Middleman Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 i would say that there is more risk with this set than the ISD Less; it's a gigantic blay partspack. More non-LSW fans will buy it for the pieces. Quote
mutley777 Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 thats a dam expensive parts pack :) oh buy the way $300= Quote

mutley777 Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 it would be nice to know what colour the inside is made up of Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 My guess, blue like always (I don't know why they always use this useless colour? Is it cheaper to have blue bricks instead of grey...) Quote

Did you ever get the ISD? About 90% of the interior was black/gray, with only a few scattered blue/red pieces. Quote
mutley777 Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 my guess would be black like the ISD. lots of technic bricks Quote

The Middleman Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 Arggggggg too many sets this year *devil* Thanks for my salary, that will take care of the rest ;) I'm putting the sandcrawler and DSII on my birthday list, buying the Vikings with my own money, same with Harry Potter and the second Ep. III wave. The 2006 first wave of sets go on my Christmas list, when I find out what they are. SO MANY GOOD SETS! Quote
ApophisV Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Yeah, was a bit faster than chewie... ;) Here it is!!! Quote
Cyclonis Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 heh, shows how much lego don't show thier potential. Quote
Beagle Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Actually I like the official Lego one much better (no offense meant to the builder of the MOC, of course, just respectfully disagreeing). The MOC contains some nice ideas, but it looks too spindly. And the Lego version has a much more appealing stance... body tilted slightly forward, center of gravity shifted back on to the heels with a nice "dog-leg" feeling. Now if only they would design a new AT-ST using the same philosophy.... Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 The head would look much better tilted forward slightly but apart from that, that things is amazing. I want one :'( Quote
prateek Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 Ooops, actually it's a MAJ.com find... :$ lol any way thats cool Quote
stb Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 I had some parts left after building DS2. I found this hint: http://www.fbtb.net/sets/index.asp?set=10143 ("secret ship") Seems I could build a ship with this. Hmm. The green parts are very green (not very typical for SW LEGO, especially mini models). If I look at some pictures (instructions, package) I see there are some differences in the lower half. The transition between the finished and the un-finished side is different. Maybe the LEGO designer changed his mind? We all know these very little parts (1x1 etc.) LEGO adds to the packages so you can replace vacuumed parts... But this time there are quite big parts and more than one. What did you do with those parts? PS: Sandcrawler had one bigger part included which was left over, too. But that time it surely was a mistake by LEGO (compare thread "PHOTO REVIEW: 10144 Sandcrawler"). Quote
languages Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 You could add them to a bigger model.......or give them to me..... Quote
Deinonychus Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Okay, I just finished assembling my Death Star II UCS set and the whole thing started leaning slightly towards the "unfinished" side almost from when I started. Now that it's finished, it's still leaning a barely perceptable ammount. So.... Is anyone else having this problem? Are you terrified that thing will decide to just randomly tip over a couple months from now? Although I suppose if it's too bad I can get in there with some spare technic pieces and beef up the central spire abit Quote
Starwars4J Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Not as much as I was with the ISD >_> Quote
