ApophisV Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 hi at all, i was a bit prolific (:P) yesterday because i made... MINI Speederbikes: and i made a mini scout trooper, but he is not in scale with the bikes... ;) so it looks funny if he rides the bike: now, looks at my Brickshelf Gallery when its moderated... ;) Oh, i hope the bikes are in scale with my Fifth Element Cars, but i'm not sure about this... ;) So, please comments (on the models, not the cam!! :P) are like always very welcome, good or negative!!!! :D Quote
sam89 Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 Ooooh, MINI Speeder Bikes! :D Very good work as usual, Apophis! The bikes are very cute (and so's the Scouttrooper ;) ) Quote
Jipay Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 Good idea to include a mini character for your mini creations. Since I'm sick and not at work, I guess I'll build something in the incoming days :P Quote
jonfett Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 Do you ever stop building Apo? Really good work. I also love the mini scout and bike, isnt he so cu.. cool! :D Jon. Quote
ApophisV Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 hehe, currently it MAY look as i am not building much... :P so thanks for the kind words, dudes!!! ;) (oh, and actually my "mini" scout trooper is as big as a minifig.... the only diffeence is that he fits better to the vehicle because of he's more agile) Quote
ApophisV Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 EDIT: Here are the High-Resolution pictures: Hi all, as already announced, I tried to copy the Walker from the leaky pictures, here are the results... (Higher quality pictures will come soon) http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ApophisV...ut_walker_5.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ApophisV...ut_walker_3.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ApophisV...ut_walker_4.jpg Gallery when public: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=109369 Quote
Vader Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Hey thats looking good, guess you couldnt wait for the real set then :-D ;) Quote
ApophisV Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Oh I will, this is one of the most fragile MOCs I've ever done.... ;) The main problem was that I hadn't the parts I'd need for a proper walker... E.g. I had to use 2x1 click hinges bricks instead of 1x4 bricks. This a) makes the legs more fragile and b) needs plates for support... Then I hadn't the right parts for the feet, and even the replacement parts are wrong colored.... :/ The connector between the body and the hip doesn't satisfy me either.... Quote
Jipay Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Damn, this is pretty accurate. But, what poor quality of pics is this ? Isn't the cam working anymore ? :o Quote
ApophisV Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Lol, don't worry.... I just haven't any batteries left.... :( (I know that I have some akkus anywhere but I dunno where exactly..... *wacko*) Quote
