Orlego Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 How can the leader of a tie army not love tie fighters??? :-D ;) That is why I have them hit people. I love to see the destruction :D ;) Quote
jonfett Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 Like Vader316 said, the characters face is green, so the figs face is green. Green? Am I going colour blind becuase I am sure that that figs has a peach face?? *wacko* None the less, this fig looks really neat and so detailed even with just a simple face. The hat looks good as well, it will probably have some uses in castle mocs. Only bad thing is that one hand is peach (or green?? :P) yet the other is black as it is connected to the saber :/ At least it is not another Tie Fighter...How can the leader of a tie army not love tie fighters??? Once again you two have managed to turn a perfectly on-topic topic into a discussion of tie fighters. Shame on you! |-/ :P Jon. Quote

Jipay Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 I don't have a light up fig yet but didn't someone say the head can come off with a little force? Much more than a little. I already made some attempts to take the head of vader (the minifig, not the moderator) off, but I am afraid to damage it :/ Quote

I hope Vader (the moderator) is not at home trying to take his head off. :P ;) Quote
Vader Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 My necks sore with all this talk of taking my head off :-D Quote
Orlego Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 I don't know about the minifig but we could have Vader (the mod) spit pea soup out. :P ;) Quote
Brickmaster Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 GREEN?!?! i hear its green eh? it looks peach in color for me. Quote
Vader Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Orlego Posted on Jan 21 2005, 12:36 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't know about the minifig but we could have Vader (the mod) spit pea soup out. I havent recovered from the last time that happened *sick* *mental note force choke Orlego* :-D :P ;) Quote
dbuty Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 From the looks of the minifig and the photo, I'm thinking that the fig's head and hand might just be plain ol' TAN. This is just a guess, thinking Lego won't be running a new color in light of the company's statement that they would be curbing the explosion of colors in the past years... DBY Quote
Orlego Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 (We need a choking smiley. I will use this one... :$ ) Vader..... can't breath..... please.... release..... me :$ :() ;) This fig also looks peach to me. I guess I'm also color blind because I do not see a shade of green. It could just be the pic. I need to see it in person. ;) Quote
sam89 Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Why can't anyone else see the green? *wacko* It's a subtle green, not completely green. But it obviously IS green, and the the character herself is green, so of course the fig will be. Quote
Orlego Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Hmmm, here is an idea. Maybe Sam is the one that is color blind. :P ;) Edit: Looking at it again, it is even more tan looking than peach. Still don't see the green. Quote
sam89 Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 But the actual character is green, so you'd think the fig would be. Compare the figs in these two puctures and you should see that Luminara definitely isn't tan. Quote
Orlego Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 But the actual character is green, so you'd think the fig would be. You would think it would have a slight green tint but with Lego cutting more than half of the colors I doubt it will be. ;) Quote
Vader Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 It could be that the flash from the camera has changed the colour, if you look at anakin he dosent look the usual flesh colour. Quote
Orlego Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 It could be that the flash from the camera has changed the colour, if you look at anakin he dosent look the usual flesh colour. Very true. Or it could just be a bad camera. In any event, I do not expect it to have the green tint. I expect it to be peach in color but only time will tell. ;) Quote
Vader Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Lego usually gets the colours right so expect that the fig will match. Quote
Orlego Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Lego usually gets the colours right so expect that the fig will match. Even with the lost of more than half the colors? I guess they could print a light green shade over a tan brick. 8-| Quote
Vader Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Very true that would give it the appearance needed, but i would hope lego does it better than that. Quote
Jipay Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Yes, overprint can have bad results as seen on jango minifig *sick* Quote
Orlego Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Yes, overprint can have bad results as seen on jango minifig *sick* Yes it can but I would not put it past them to do so. |-/ ;) Quote
sam89 Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 Well I copied the picture into paint and selected the colour, and it appears to be tan-ish. So I guess I was wrong with the green thing. (but it still looks green on the actual figure to me *wacko* ) Quote
