Bartosz Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 (edited) While googling for related stuff I came across this image: What a wonderful layout, isn't it! It was somewhere on pinterest (which I detest and I just can't navigate around) so I just took a screenshot of it. I couldn't find it in n 1981 catalogues. Any clues? Man with a hat Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Ah, those good old days. I am not sure, but back then there where separate train catalogs/folders included in the sets and/or as part of the instructions and it looks like it is one of them. Since I have 7725 I should have them lying around somewhere but I need to check. Perhaps someone has a quicker answer. Quote
Bartosz Posted March 17, 2021 Author Posted March 17, 2021 Oh, managed to click through annoying pinterest popups and arrived at: http://www.carolinatrainbuilders.com/2007/02/lego-12v-train-poster-from-1981/ Shame the resolution is not great, but cool nonetheless. Quote
SteamSewnEmpire Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 I miss the rails and ties being separate parts. Quote
Sunil766 Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 I'm a little triggered by the fact that there is not a single loop to have a train run continuously in such a large layout - apart from the 8 in the center. Other than that, yes, with the remote control functionality this must be much fun! Quote
kieran Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 Look at all the remote controls, great fun I am a sure, Quote

Curse you: Realizing this, I cannot enjoy the layout as much as before! Quote
1974 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 It's this one : https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?C=c81detrZug&name=1981 Entdecke den richtigen Zug!
