Have to agree with whats been said so far, Orc is not a copyrighted word. Tolkien invented it as part of his Quenya lexicon. But, every fantasy genre has used it in some form or another since then, mainly games like Warhammer Fantasy (which was using it waaaaaay before Warcraft had been created :D).

I'm undecided on what to call them. I wanna say Orc, but my blind loyalty to TLG makes me say Troll :P

It doesn't really matter does it?

In Denmark we have no word for ogre. Thus Shrek became a troll.

Same thing goes for many other fantasy/folklore creatures and beasts.

In fantasy games the term is also a bit different depending on the game or setting.

Some have goblins, orcs and trolls - some mix them up and add cave trolls for bigger beasts.

The trolls in Willow aren't bigger than a normal man, but seriously hairy like a chimpanse.

So it's all up to Your local folklore to decide what is what.

Personally I call the bigger ones (the ship drummer) trolls and the smaller pesky green ones for orcs. (which JRR Tolkien wouldn't call them since they're green and not black like his orcs)

And by the way Navy Trooper Fenson, even though we see a picture in a magazine, that doesn't mean anything for sure on whether or not we are going to have an elf line. Very possible, yes, I think so....but nothing is in stone as of yet!

If I hear anything, I will be more than happy to inform the group.

Go ORCS!!!!!

(But you will be defeated by the Forestmen!)
