Bobskink Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 I updated my senna from an older topic and had a lot of fun, so I did a couple more of his rivals. Senna Mansell Schumacher And the car, based on the Lego Ferrari. There's just one problem, I can't fit the figure in it with his arms, since I had to malter the model to make it look more like the original... Now I just want some shiny stickers for the car. Quote
JimBee Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 pretty cool! nice car. and the figs' faces at first looked fake to me because the visor magnifies them... lol. are those custom decals? Quote
xNick Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Wow. They look absolutely fantastic! Any thought on doing a Mark Webber one (because we all know he is awesome ) Quote
KimT Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 WAAAUW. Awesome work on those minifigs. Impressive. They're painted? or is it a combination of stickers and paint? KimT Quote
Bobskink Posted June 14, 2008 Author Posted June 14, 2008 @JimButcher The faces are indeed a litltle weerd, I didn't know how to do it, I maybe need to redo them. I didn't use deacls, it's al painted, it's not 100% accurate, but it had charme ;) @xNick Hehe, a Coulthard is comming up, since I'm a big fan of him, but I can try to do a Mark Webber also. I would really love to do a Red Bull racing car, but there aren't enough dark blue pieces to make one. A Prost and Hamilton are comming up aswell. Schumy and Hammy are going straight to eBay, since I'm no fan of them. @kimt Only paint, but no doubt it would look better with stickers. But I dont have the know how... Quote
Frostbite Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 (edited) The faces look a bit too detailed for minifigs. I like your Schumacher, I think the official minifig's better, but it's a pretty good job Edited June 14, 2008 by Frostbite Quote
