I'm going to order either the Vader bust or the Probe Droid this evening. Which is the better set?

Personally, I'd go with the probe Droid. Looks such a good display, would fit nicely on the desk, is a complete model and then some, and is unique in that probe Droid builds don't come along often in any scale. Darth vader bust is nice, but imo, has room for improvement in areas, and while is a nice display piece, isn't too interesting to look at for long.

Entirely my opinion of course.

I'd second the Probe Droid.
I built the Tie Pilot recently and found it a bit boring to be honest, and guess Vader would be similar.
The Droid has some quite interesting parts and techniques I thought.

The description of the dark maul figurine has been leaked, it would have the same head and horns as in the version crimson dawn but would have a new impression of torso and leg.

Good to hear they’re bringing back Maul’s Solo face print, definitely one of the best ones so far

Well, it's definitely better than creepy smile face from Ep 1 they overused till now.

Maul just leaked, and he looks excellent

He does! The only thing I'm worried about is the QC for his eyes. The red and yellow on them can be really wonky and make him look crossed-eyed

Wow, that Maul looks amazing! I'm most excited to see this set, hopefully Ahsoka has at least the Togruta piece with fixed printing that's not too high!

Maul looks really nice, very accurate representation of his look from season 7 of clone wars. Hope Ahsoka gets to reuse shorter lekku piece in the set as it's more accurate than longer one.

That would be so great. I never caught the old CW Ashoka figures myself. And I am still not satisfied with the Shaak Ti piece for Rebels.

And that's a perfect Maul. I might just buy the 4th SW set in years (old Luke hut, Mando speeder + Razor Crest)

I hope he comes with the new double hilt piece..

I doubt. But those pieces are easy to get though.

Why do you doubt? It's perfect and an easy thing for them to do; is there any reason they wouldn't use that piece? Of course it's always possible that they don't, but this is such an obvious use for the longer hilt (it's the first thing everyone thought of when it was introduced) that it seems like it would be a weird move for them not to.

I mean, we shouldn't really dismiss the idea that we aren't getting that piece. After all minifigure leaks tend to be isolated from regular pieces in the set, do they not? And this person might have just grabbed Ahsoka's hilt piece, what they presumed to be Maul's, and just stuck the red blades.

Maul looks excellent, definitely hope they use the new hilt piece. I fully expect Ahsoka to be the exact same from last year and I'm totally fine with that.

He does look AMAZING, I might have to get the Duel on Mandalore set now!

Same. The closest color is dark bluish grey right now, and while close it'd be nice to have the actual color.

So now the summer wave figures we've seen are 8/8 for being great in my book....theres gotta be a garbage figure somewhere in here

I'm kinda worried Mando in the Armory set is gonna be a repeat of his S1 look.

You are right! You are right! And: you are right! All of the Lego fandom was seeing this piece and only looking out for recolours and then saying: we finally got our Maul light saber hilt!

...but we talk about TLG. Im not saying they are bad or whatever but just: there are always weird choices about these kind of parts. It's like asking the question why they still use the oldest hairpieces for Kenobi's, Luke etc. - when there are like 15 more fitting pieces on the market, some already in the right colour.

So to me and you it seems logic but for some reason there seems to be some rules applied to changing something about designs of one licence.

Echo and Crosshairs helmets are both terrible, so there's that

Just wanted to check, do we know if the imperial transport is they troop carrying one seen in season 1, or the more weaponised one from season 2? Personally I'd rather the season one version and the concept art for the season 2 Greef episode does use the season 1 one.

I know it comes with season 2 Greef, but knowing lego's past choices, that doesn't say which it is, especially as the other figure leaked from this set was in the episode with spaceship imperial transports, not the land speeder/ hover tank ones.

So left picture or right? or do we not know? Thanks.. :classic:

The set's name is Trexler Marauder, the name of the one which doesn't transport troops and appears in Mando season 2. If it's the troop transport one which commonly appeared in Rebels and at the end of Mando season 1 then I'd be very surprised.
