Spot on - I never even noticed them before; just the normal ones. Great find! I'm completely with you about needng a revamp of the old ones given the massive discrepancy in their detailing.

Just saw the Mandalore Duel Set listed on s@h. And that vault build is so clever. I’m glad they figured out a way to have the window for Maul to look through. It was hard to tell from yesterday’s lower quality pictures.

Oh no worries! I wasn't asking about that, moreso there was a definitive statement concerning LEGO Con being the gunship reveal, I was wondering if there was any news besides educated guesses (that I also agree with - fingers crossed!). 

I have been watching the Bad Batch and enjoying it for what it is. Preordered the shuttle and the meditation chamber. Made a deal with the Mrs. to get LEGOs and forego Hot Toys figures for a while.

Looks like Gar Saxon has a head print too which is dope. Also, the cheekbones are cut different on the helmet which is cool and I hope it becomes a precedent.

Man, the new Slave One just goes to show how EASILY the 1HY offerings could have been improved. Had they replaced the regular TIE with a TIE Outlander, the protocol droid in that set with an incinerator trooper, the minifigs in the X-Wing with Trapper Wolf and Carson Teva, and Luke, Vader & the pilot with Mando, Pershing, & the Imp too stupid to live, I wouldn’t have said a single bad thing about it

Now that they're officially revealed( just the 2 CW ones) we've got the GBP prices and I'm pleasantly surprised, the duel set still feels expensive but I was expecting £20 or maybe even £25 so it could've been worse.

On the topic of price, Hopefully they won't use the break from proper battle packs as an excuse to up their price.

To me it looks like the front opens and the one panel facing the camera on ratchet hinges probably folds open too, which means it goes to at least where Greef pops out. The gun on the back looks to be on a turntable tho, which means there's probably nothing on the back half.

The only Clone Wars episodes that I've enjoyed more than Bad Batch so far are the Umbaran arc, the Fives on the run arc, the Ahsoka on the run arc and the Siege of Mandalore/Aftermath arc.

Bad Batch is much more consistent in its quality than Clone Wars, with characters I like a lot more (Omega > Ahsoka, fight me). The writing is a lot less awkward and stilted, the animation is outstanding. It's a combination of the Rebels family dynamic and the Clone Wars's darkness, and it's brilliant so far. Clone Wars was russian roulette whether the episode was going to be good or not, and on watching both back to back I'd honestly say that although Rebels only reaches the heights of Clone Wars once (Maul and Obi Wan's rematch), it's a better show overall (so I'm salty that we barely got any sets based on it).

Betting it'll be in the next couple days, I think that's how Marvel went? (I do not want to return to the hellhole that was the Marvel thread when we were waiting on pics ) a few pics dropped at first and then we got more as the days continued. My guess is since we seem to be getting one big, one little so far, next one will be Trexler and either 75369 or Cruiser and then Slave and the other one, if 369 is still a thing.

It would be kinda funny if they were planning on saving some of the new sets to be revealed at that Lego Con thing, though considering that they already revealed two of them that seems unlikely.

hopefully with the rumors about the-sequel-which-supposedly-became-the-ahsoka-show-and-part-of-rangers-but-rangers-might-be-canned-and-the-animated-sequel-might-be-back-or-whatever, we'll eventually get another ghost, but I'm not holding out much hope. I just want an affordable Zeb!

I feel like the only one they're revealing at legocon is the gunship, just because they revealed official pics of the CW sets and I think it'd be weird for them to save specifically the mando sets for the convention, as opposed to doing the fan vote set. That said, I also wouldn't have expected them to officially reveal two of the wave's system sets but not the rest, so I guess it's possible.

I think you may be right about the gunship, but it’s also possible they will do official announcements at the con.

You are not alone!

The Mandalorian Starfighter looks excellent, especially when the wings are displayed in horizontal position. The side with antistuds doesn’t look that great as expected, but it is still good in my opinion. Happy it has landing mode and hosts two minifigs. At that piece count and price it could not have been better.

Couldn’t agree more  Bad Batch has been far more consistent than TCW’s, Rebels’, and Resistance’s respective first seasons. All three of these shows only started to get really good after the first season while Bad Batch is already on that level IMO

Despite TBB also being more consistent like Rebels, it hasn't grabbed me yet. 

So I'm kind of torn with the shuttle. I don't want it, and I'm not even a huge fan of the characters, but I do like their minifigs... And I bet they'll end up quite expensive bought separately. What a conundrum 

(I know I could just buy the set, take the figures and try and sell the rest but I don't want to go that route)
