Ah I forgot GWP have the set numbers outside typical lines, good call. Well hopefully more will reveal itself soon. Just looking forward to the August wave in the meantime!

A thought I had: Maybe the Mando forge was/is supposed to be a CC exclusive? It seems like a potential set to fit that bill possibly? Just throwing the thought our for consideration. 

I thought the Forge or the Darth Vader's Meditation Chamber could have been originally designed to be a SDCC exclusive.

The forge, no way. Vader meditation definitely comes across like an exclusive they decided to make wide release though

They wouldn't shove two new characters into a comic-con exclusive set, especially after the gunship debacle. I think the Forge either got moved back to next year or its being saved for later this year.

The superhero franchises have and will always be different from star wars in terms of SDCC releases.

I think it's meant for wide-release but based off the success of bespin duel (in which case they got the point completely wrong, it's more expensive and not as iconic of a scene).

Why would the Forge have been cancelled? It's leaked over 3 weeks ago, and it's coming September 1st.

That wouldn‘t make any sense. An exclusive torso print here and there is fair game for a con-exclusive set, but this? Those two figs have 7 unique new prints between them (2x legs, 2x torsos, 2x helmets, 1x armour) and three recoloured parts (2x helmets, 1x armour). There‘s no way they‘d be buried in an exclusive set like that

PSA for fellow Aussies, Big W has the new wave up for order on their website. Got my click and collect in already, picking up first thing in the morning. Shuttle, light cruiser, marauder and slave I... mando fighter was already sold out unfortunately.

This is 100% not just you, I want to clarify that, but guys, why the hell do you think the forge was cancelled? We've known it's not part of a main wave for forever and we've already seen the leaked images of the set. AFAIK we've never seen leaked box images of a star wars set that was later cancelled (the closest being prelims of the final constraction sets that were very clearly unfinished.)

I think some people assumed its cancelled cause the other rumored September set (advent calendar) was announced and we haven't heard anything else about the forge. I don't doubt its coming this year but I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a Target/Walmart retail exclusive released later in the fall not necessarily the rumored September.

It was down for a long chunk of time.

This year has been weird since LEGO has been adding so many products to its site so far in advance. I can't remember them doing that to this level before. Usually things are just added maybe up to a month in advance but usually even less. Now it's not even August and we have stuff that's up for September and later.

Given that context, I kind of get why people are concerned that the Forge hasn't materialised on the website, but in past years it wouldn't have felt surprising at all if it only popped up like two weeks before it was due to go on sale, whenever that will be.

I went to my local yesterday and the staff was stocking shelves, no SW there, asked and he opened all the boxes for me... best lego experience in a long while too! Good first day out of lockdown 😎

The usual tag on the usual app has some preliminary info on the upcoming (yet to be confirmed) UCS AT-AT.

Yikes…$800 rumored price point for the AT-AT?

At that price, I’m wondering if it will actually be 1:1 minifigure-scale, or slightly scaled up (I hope not…).

That price point is obscene - I wonder whether it will break the 1k mark in CAD. It's the same USD price as 75192, which is 900CAD here, but considering the recent exchange rates TLG is doing between USD and CAD prices, I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up costing more than the Falcon. This many enormous sets in the span of a few months is an exercise in patience. Why blast a whole through your wallet this weekend when there's a MOAB coming in November?

It should be very close to minifig scale. That would scale to about a meter in height and a bit less in length, which is comparable to the Falcon at 84cm.

That is, if they can keep it stable. I know previously it has been discussed if it would be poseable or a static model. 

Any insight with regards to scale and stability for some of the MOCs (e.g. Raskolnikovs?)

It would scale to about 2 ft height, 1 metre is quite off, but yes, it should be about minifig scale, or, likely ever so slightly smaller. Unless.... It has a base to assist with stability, similar to the probe droid. Thrn I'd expect a happy medium between the system size and cavegods.
