Heh, yeah, I saw this over on Slashdot. It's quite interesting news. I actually forgot what I was going to see, I was distracted by BMW's GINA car.

I still think Pluto should be a planet. It's always a planet in my heart.

I still think Pluto is a planet. I've still got all of these old books and a talking interactive toy solar system and Pluto is there.

IMO, this decision was crap. I would have loved if they had gone the other route and made Pluto and several other planetoid objects official planets. Would have been better than rewriting the whole textbook on the solar system.

Well, I'm all for the decision. Pluto is just a large rock with an odd orbit... and there are many more out there that are like it, some of them bigger. If we continued to class Pluto as a planet we would have needed to include the others... which would have resulted in the books being wrong just the same.
