Paul Corbak Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 Hello eveyones :) A lonely tower in some swamps. This moc is kind of a test of a technique I saw to made a round tower by Eggy Pop. Thanks to him for sharing because I ended up making a real Moc. I started the round part of the tower without a base and the easiest way to make one was to do something flat, so a swamp seemed a good idea. You can notice on the DSC_0016 pictures that the drawbridge is actually working as a real one : a weight is behind the door and can be lift with a rope to open the outside drawbridge. As the weight goes up, the drawbridge goes down and you can enter the tower. More of the weight can be seen on the interiors pictures. I hope you'll like it :) PS : thanks to Siercon & Coral for the roof technique which is awesome also Quote
Sarophas Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 Amazing build! Great color choices and the curved wall looks really dense/no gaps. Also the level of detail is incredible, so is the drawbridge Quote
TheLegoDr Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 Amazing! The drawbridge is really clever! The colors work really well together. I really like the window trim with the curve macaroni tile and the rounded section right before the roof/gable area. Well done, I'll definitely look back at this for inspiration. I really need to start building castle stuff again (I've been too hung up on Modular building lately). Quote
zoth33 Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 The tower has some nice texturing. The swamp looks good with all the vegetation and the dead tree is a nice detail. Neat drawbridge function. The colors look good together and great looking custom figs. Really nice build. Quote
