In his honor, royalist Eslandians (all four of them) gathered in the capital to burn the Corry flag and wave nightcaps (the official symbol of King Fernando). So this was mostly a fun excuse to use that wild red plume and to show off my nightcaps. I couldn't find a happy medium between building a whole town square and this, so after letting it gather a few weeks of dust I took pictures of it. The next vignette will make up for it. Thanks for looking, hope you're enjoying the Captain's continued adventures... Edited May 18, 20213 yr by Kai NRG
May 17, 20213 yr That's a neat little bonfire Kai, although of course I can't approve of the material they are burning!

June 24, 20213 yr What an affront! Most irregular! How dare you?! Nice and effective little scene. I think we sometimes get worked up in an idea that everything has to be huge and elaborate. And hence end up neglecting the stories that really keeps BoBs alive! My characters too have so many story hooks that I rarely manage to pick up on. On the good side, I have approximate 15 wips that are about to get done.

Thank you! I have a couple floating story hooks myself... but I'm determined to finish this one up even if I have to go a bit small. Hopefully the final story will be a really fun read all together--supposing anyone has time for that sort of thing these days. But yes, I'm wondering where Bregir manages to house 15 WIPs! Three is almost too many for my sanity level... An almost fully rigged ship had an incident with a curtain and an open window (being placed on the window sill...) and fell over catastrophically. But somehow, I managed to restore it to its proper glory! And it is not the only incident. With the next few months I expect a considerable increase in available space, and will hopefully also get a more permanent photo-setup so I can stop tiptoeing around all these WIPs!

I have a similar story with this delicate forest. I left it on the ping-pong table and one of my little sisters decided it would make a good blanket weight for a play tent. That ended in many pieces.
