I looked again in the rules & FAQ but did not see an answer - what exactly does a Hampering, Contained Elemental Grenade do? Also do grenades have blast range, etc?

The Grenade rules are in the Trade Bazaar where they're sold. There was supposed to be a note somewhere in the rules to explain that.
I should also mention that technically the correct wording would be Hampering, Contained, Chemical Grenade, but again the rules don't explain that.

It reads a bit different under the engineering kit you get at start.

In that case, I completely misread the interaction! I thought that Soren realised that his lie was too flimsy to maintain against Yelana's questioning, so he just told her what had happened. After that, I was writing Yelana as reacting to his admission (not as insulting him). 😬

@CMP It might be good to specify that you want to go before Kirwin (you can do this due to having the same result on your initiative checks) so that your attack doesn't accrue range penalties due to the speeder's movement.

I have to say, it's only been a couple of battles, but playing melee in H2.0. feels really good so far! :thumbup: That was my biggest concern back when I was running Mission 0, so I'm really happy to be having fun running around and bonking heads with Decker.

In one of the other threads in regards to characters there was a discussion about character making proficiency changes between missions that really changes their character. Can anyone point me to the rules or discussion about that? What are the boundaries of these changes?

It's in the FAQ.

Q·: Can I change my character’s stats or start a new character?
A: Yes, while we find it entertaining to see characters grow from mission to mission, we understand that sometimes you won’t know if you find a certain character or playstyle enjoyable until you actually play. With that in mind, if you wish to “respec” your characters creation and level up points you are free to do so. Please follow the below constraints:
- Do not respec during a mission. 
- It is preferable (but not necessary) to have a story to go along with your character’s change in stats; the Training Room thread is appropriate for this roleplay.
- If you are starting a brand new character, you may only transfer character points. Items and Equipment are not transferred between new and old characters. Please do not attempt to circumvent this.

So this might be something we have to figure out, but currently any party with a member who has magical healing will be starting every encounter with full health due to the new Meditate rules. :laugh:

Interested to see how Bulking Stim plays in practice! I'm thinking it might be an item that essentially grants invulnerability when it's taken? It seems unlikely that we can hack through 7 temporary hit points in a timely manner - I think this will just be more true as enemies get more powerful. Also, wonder what will happen to the left over points? Say I'm at 8/14 vitality, and take a stim, getting me up to 16/14. I then get hit once dropping me to 13/14. When the stim ends, am I still at 13/14? If I don't get hit, does it count as a full heal? If so, it's doing two big things instead of just one!
