Mostly - I have had some things come up over the past week, as well as having more issues with Depression than I usually do. 😕
I have blocked-out time to actually get caught-up, so I should be back to posting normally tomorrow (Friday - or Saturday at the very latest). Thank you for checking in - I appreciate it! How have you been?

I'm doing good now thank you, had a lot of stress from things happening, biggest thing being moving back in with my parents because my job does simply not pay enough to live on my own (especially in the current state of the world). And currently thinking about whether I'm going to want to pursue a different job in the future or what.

My wonderful landlord with whom I get along great decided to start a big renovation of my appartment, after I had announced to him that I'm moving out and after about 3/4 of a year of me complaning about issues like the appartement not heating up during winter, (moisture) mold and rhodent issues etc. As I was packing boxes suddenly I had 7 workers over who started tearing down walls and such. That had me pretty pissed-off and not really in the mindset to do anything with Lego or H:GATS at the time.

Right now things are mostly on track though and I'm just glad to be rid of my landlord soon

@Viper Knight, the objects in your inventory are not legitimate choices for starting equipment. Please read the character creation rules and pick one of the available starting kits. If you don't, you will not be able to participate in missions due to noncompliance with the rules. I would also recommend reading the section on spending CP and use your starting points to increase your stats accordingly.

If I may, Duvors' tone may have come off as a little harsher than intended, but don't take that as a sign you're not welcome. The guidelines exist for a reason, not to spite you specifically. Every player joining Heroica has to start at the same level for balance's sake, so that everyone can play on the same level!  We couldn't just let everyone have cloaking generators and motorcycles - though I'm sure you could build up to those elements over time.

Now you don't need to be that way. I made recommends and I am sure others can make some more if you need more help.

If I could make some recommendations, for your character equipment. I would say use the "Marine Kit" set up, but you would have to boost up a few stats, for example...

Technically one could star with a cloaking generator. You just need to pick the right set up, "spy kit" for said cloaking generator. Not sure what the motorcycle would be used for  his horse I guess.

I didn't imagine it as harsh, but thanks fellas. No, no, no, I'm pulling out my character, my urban myths as a Lego Knight are few for any room; a commando +1 in healing for abrasive encumbering social playtrhoughs, dont be a pirate, and base experiences on pride to not overindulge. 

I brashly tried to join the last Heroica when I started on Eurobricks, and this one is in space, so, I've gotten contempt. I'll fix my signature - that was rather harsh of me immediately after pulling out, and reminded me of what youth virtue I was protecting from skeletal figures.

Sorry to hear that, Dutch. Generally speaking I've never met a landlord I actually liked. It's not uncommon to refer to them as "slum lords" from where I'm from.  I hope your situation improves in the future.

Haha yeah thanks, the best part is we are distant relatives. In the future if/when I have to rent again I'll go for a corporation instead of a private owner, it has it's downsides but it's generally the better option (over here).

Look if you really feel that way you could always delete the post yourself. It will still be their, all you would have to do is edited it to be blank or something. 

Personally, I think you could still play your character how ever you want to just make some adjustments...

Been wanting to post for a while, but wanted to give enough time for Merei to have "waited" aboard the ship! Excited to be back in it. Also HOPEFUL that over the summer with a lighter schedule and having finished my Master's I'll have a chance to run something (gotta familiarize myself with digital building!!)

I saw the avatar of the elven investigator on Flickr and I just love the vibe you've captured here, Lord Duvors. I love me a good mixture of film noir/sci-fi/cyberpunk/fantasy.

I can't say I've really kept up with all that's happening here, but I just wanted to pop in and compliment you on the builds (and others of course). I like seeing how Heroica 2.0 is developing its own (visual) identity.

Thank you. Ironically enough those images are from locations that weren't visited in the mission they were built for. I'll have to find some use for them.

I do apologise for being so absent; I have been dealing with more Depression than usual lately (I am not sure why). I was planning to reply later today (and to continue with the quest) but if the feeling is that my lapses in participation are disrupting the pace of the game for the other players, I can use this point to write Yelana out of the mission. 
@Kintobor: Any advice?

My personal view is that if you have enough energy to write the above, you have enough to respond in mission. You seem to have this belief that you have to respond directly to everything that's been written since the last time you posted. Believe me, you don't. You can do just fine with a single sentence reply to the most recent events. It doesn't even have to involve dialogue, you can just say what action you're taking. This is actually less disruptive than replying to things that the rest of the group has already moved on from.
