Vader Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Several reviwers on Brickset also talk about spending
sam89 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Well burnsnet on Rebelscum (who attented Toy Fair) says: Hi, the Gunship will be
JimBee Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 what? well, then, this leaves us right back where we started, knowing that the RGS is 100$, and the ATTE is 90$. :-/
snefroe Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 did you guys notice that the nose art sticker has been applied to the wrong side of the ship? i guess we'll get one sticker then, instead of two, but as usual they didn't take to much time to build and display the sets in a proper way... they should realy be more professional of that and it wouldn't hurt to release official photos on their website too so the entire community can just deeplink decent pics from there... so the gunship will most likely be 120 euro... big deal... many big sw sets are within that price category. Pay up or die...

simonjedi Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 The photo of that set doesn't include all of the information card. same for the V-19 torrent ... it does have a price, but it's too blurry to make out. i think i read the v-19 torrent as
Algernon Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 $112 for a Gunship??? WTF. The Torrent looks like a $40-$50 set, and the Magna fighter looks like a $30-#40 dollar set... the AT-TE looks like a $60-$70 dollar set, and the gunship looks like a $90 set (which is what they charged for the original). I hope they change this.
Commander Faie Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 (edited) This website gives US prices for the new sets. One word: ridiculous. Edited February 7, 2008 by Commander Faie
The Kid Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I think those are Euro prices, judging by the information card of the RGS... TK
Big Pete Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I think those are Euro prices, judging by the information card of the RGS...TK indeed ... do people actually read the other posts in this thread?! :-|
Vader Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 indeed ... do people actually read the other posts in this thread?! :-| That's a big NO i'm afraid, and i'm getting alittle tired of it |-/
Chuck Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 That's a big NO i'm afraid, and i'm getting alittle tired of it |-/ Isn't the whole point of a forum to discuss things? Last time I checked, discussions usually involved peoople listening to other people's statements, and then asking questions or replying, not ignoring and repeating past points :-/ Maybe we should just keep quoting eachother :-P -Chuck

That's just lazy and we end up with more posts repeating themselves then ever before, as you well know ignoring posts ends up getting people in trouble. It gets so ridiculouly boring to keep saying the same things over and over because of people's lazyness |-/ Its gets more and more irritating !! So please do read before asking a question because there are a huge chance that the answer is in previous posts. *yoda*

sam89 Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I found some new pics and a video here. The video shows the V-19 Torrent's wings folding out.
Looking for a display name Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 (edited) I found some new pics and a video here. Scouty Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Oh, I never noticed where the pneumatics were. I know *yoda* said there were some, but I didn't see them *wacko* . Thanks sam!
Icesaber Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I found some new pics and a video here. The video shows the V-19 Torrent's wings folding out. Sam you rock. Those pics are great, but it looks like the V-19 has a gap after the cockpit |-/ . Not happy about that. Also, I hope that white clone is a prelim and the actual set will have a yellow pilot!

Also, I hope that white clone is a prelim and the actual set will have a yellow pilot! I assume the gap is so that the central wing can fold all the way up. If there was a back to the cockpit, there wouldn't be space for the wing.

If there was a back to the cockpit, there wouldn't be space for the wing. Well, if you moved the main wing one brick back, you could put some bricks there. Not sure how the whole thing would like with that though.
Corvus Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I found some new pics and a video here. The video shows the V-19 Torrent's wings folding out.... Wow, thanks, Sam! These pics... *wub* Updates on my humble opinion: V-19: Looks a lot better. Well, even better than before. The gap can be fixed, but why is there a normal trooper in there? Hope that'll be fixed...Though the clone does look much better. AT-TE. Much improved. A proper hinge on the cannon, I see. RGS: Most excellent. The closed doors are great. *wub* Will
