I still don't like the look of the Twilight but i'll reserve judgement until I can get me hands on it. Maybe it will be a fun playset...

we can't realy see the twilight well so lets wait and see

thanks. I still hope the new Republic Gunship will be a limited edition (but indeed likely not), still are happy it comes very soon! can't wait, how many are you guys gonna buy? I think I will buy 5 at least as I am cloneCraZy. but the problem is that I don't like the European prizes :thumbdown: so I will try to buy some from the US. :tongue:

btw do you guys like the first seen shapes of the twilight? :tongue:

We have something together here, EU pricing sucks! I wont have the money to buy FIVE (WOW :classic: ) RGSs but I'll definitely buy one, along with the ATTE and some smaller sets.

It is strange that everybody wondered what the Twilight was. It's the first thing you could see in the trailer of the Clone Wars, and nobody wondered what vehicle that might be...

Well anyways the Euro Prices are outrageous and well I think I'm lucky... I live in America.... if only I lived a barely tax state :hmpf: .... and also the AT-TE needs at least 2 more clones....Lego don't make me buy 2 more clone BPSs!

Is there any news on the newer sets coming out?? any??

Most people assumed that it was the Twilight, we just didn't know for sure.

But back to the 10188 Death Star:

Somebody wrote a while ago that the DS will be shown at brickworld. I looked it up when brickworld is (19th til 22nd of June). So we'll see some pics of the DS in about two weeks, won't we?

The Homing spiderdroid looks nice enough if it's around 25 euro and have 5 figs or more.

The Twilight looks a bit bulky to me and as it looks like it have Anni, Ashoka, Rotta and a R2 droid, I will see if I make a decision between the ATTE and this slightly not well designed spaceship.

I thought he was on the pictures of the ATTE also very small, like he only came to the heaps of Anni and Ashoka.

I hope it isn't his little babysister,. How many children can a dangerous mafiatype like Jabba have? He cannot be a big crimelord if he also must look for his children (Or Bib Fortuna must Babysit for him :grin: ).

only 1? come on buy at least 2 :cry_happy: those US prices are so attractive for us! It will be cheaper for us to buy them from the US, eaven with shipping and taxs calculated!

not sure but the sets are made in demark right? so they go from there to the US and from the US to Europe again as a lot of Europeans buy them from there so I mean WTF! can it more complicated? :pir_wacko:

I am also from The Netherlands (like Wout) and I do not know any cheap shops, they are all Crazy, intertoys sells Lego SW for stupido prizes too, just watch this shoplink of Intertoys and no more words are needed: :tongue:

Yes 5 indeed! To be honest I will open 3 of them to built a army (lol) and I will hold 2 sets as an investment! Those old RGS are going so high on ebay!

How many are you gonna buy then>? and all you other guys(& girls :thumbup: ) how many sets???

I think the RGS is the best Lego SW set! don't you think also?

Why don't you buy a clonetrooper armypack for 2 extra figs 4 your AT-TE? (maybe custom the figs a bit>?)... I know a good shop where u can buy them! pls see my link from above, the 7668 prize is only 15,99 euro = $25,17 :tongue:

lol 15,99 € for a battlepack is much even for Germany. The four clones BPs I bought were on sale for 11,99 each. It's still way more expensive than in the US.

And I'd love to buy several RGSs but I wont have the money for it I guess :cry_sad:

I think the old RGS is better than the new one but the new one is pretty good, too. Also, I like the original phase 1 clones better but I think I'll get to like the new ones, too.

Buying an RGS, ATTE, Magna Guard figher, DS and some other sets will be expensive enough for a young guy that doesn't earn any money yet, you know...

About Commander Fox...I always that he had orange markings as opposed to red. Yes, I know that this is the beginning of the Clone Wars and that clones aren't meant to have coloured armour yet, but Cody has orange armour, so why can't Fox have it as well?

I have my doubts that it's Commander Fox.

No offense, but that's just... weird. :sceptic: He's the leader of the Coruscant battalion, judging by the symbol on his chest plate, and not of the 222nd battalion. The 501st is blue, but hte 5th Fleet Security has dark blue bars. Quite different. The 442nd has spots of dark green, but it's nowhere near the intense green camo of the 41st Legion under Commander Gree. The 7th Battalion is brown of all colors, but who knows? Fox may actually be orange in this set like you said! Remember in the EU line, in the Droid Battle Pack(the big one with the spider droid and mini-hailfire droid)? Originally the Commander droid was orange, but then he was red, and finally, yellow.

The only Clone Commander previously made was just a simple 'Cody' in the Turbo Tank, and remade pauldronless in the Clone Battle Pack. So I've had enough of orange for today... :wink: And I know, you can say 'That Cody was YELLOW, not ORANGE!' :tongue:

Anyway, I can't find the pic, but it's somewhere, and if anyone can find it, it shows a red commander with the Coruscanti symbol on his chest plate next to Padme with some clones. If anyone finds it it'd be MUCH appreciated. :sweet:

I could buy a brand new HD TV, mountain bike or computer for the prices of 5 RGSs

I don't think many people quite have the money to buy £450 or $550 worth of Lego, including me :wacko:

I shall post the most likely UK prices in case they have not been mentioned yet or they are in a page miles back:

AT-TE: £70

Interesting... well the colored trooper would most likely have to be related to an ARC trooper.... or is one. But still there is the information of BD commander being Orange, then Red, and for the finale result, Yellow..... this makes it if it were...that trooper in the HSD a Red which most likely be turned into Yellow... Lego probably had a the colored clone trooper Orange and now red to see if its better.... but hopefully we get a "RED" ARC trooper or something in the vecenity of it.

As for the Twilight it needs a clone or two.

And I hope we can have booming pictures of the DS and hopefully TX-130s and DGS pics too on the 19th of June.

Very true, but I'd trust the box; I think we'll be getting Ashoka, Rotta, and Skywalker. :wink:

And as TLC is going, they seem to be giving us a Commander with each set that has clones, so no Commander, no clones, IMHO...

I am soon to acquire the MTT and over the summer will get the new clone wars sets . Im am so totally getting 2 or 3 of the HSD. They are awesome!! :laugh::sing::thumbup:

Hopefully it'll come with many new and different minifigs because minifigs are the heart of every set - especially in the SW theme!

My sentiments exactly. As great as all these new sets are, not many people are going to be able to but them all. Does anyone on here plan to buy them all? I for one only plan to buy the Gunship and the Death Star for sure. Any other ones I'll just have to see what I can afford. They all look so great as well. :sceptic:

The Spider droid looks really good with a good selection of figs but I'm not feeling the Twilight. To me the word "twilight" sounds sleek and shiny. This thing looks more like it should be called "The Clunkadunk" or something similar. It really looks like part of a Turbo Tank with wings stuck on. But I suppose it does show a good representation of how a B-Wing has evolved.

I'll buy at least one of each, as I've done with nearly every SW set since 1999. Collecting just a few years ago wasn't as expensive, as TLC didn't make a great deal of stuff that appealed to me, but now Batman, SW, Agents, City, Exo-Force, Mission to Mars, Creator, Castle are all so well done. Tough choices are made in the LEGO aisle.

"Clunkadunk" LOL! the Spider Droid looks great...can't wait to see clear pics. The Twilight is pretty boxy, but I'm hoping it'll have some neat features to offset its lack of aerodynamics. I've been hoping for a Droid Gunship ever since I bought the art book, and the DS set is an absolute must-have...I hope it's done really well, better than the Cloud City. Something like this would be the bee's knees.
