Not at all; great pics indeed! Definitely good to see final pics; a certain sign that they're coming very soon.

So why can't you just wait 11 more days for them to come out? Jeez, it has a street date. Some people just don't know the meaning of patience...

Yes, patience is the key... are they out yet? how about now? Now? Now? Now?

I'm not complaining, I just want my Republic Gunship.

You are kind of complaining... but hey, I dont blame you, I can't wait 10 days, either. Not to mention that we've been waiting since... February. :hmpf_bad::tongue::sweet:

I'm pretty sure this has been said before, but they are for wide release, in October, hopefuly sooner. Hope that clears things up. And I've known about these sets since last December. I found out about them on Brickset.

The Clone Wars sets don't come out till August in NZ. Looks like I'm the one who has to be really patient.

Unless I order them from the US but then they still probably won't arrive until August. :cry_sad:

Oh well

Hey all, i was just on ebay when I saw that they had some RGS'S and At-TE's for sale. No figs though. :hmpf_bad: Cant wait till they actually have figures.

yeah i saw that too. did you go to completed listings a RGS w/out figs sold for $60!!! and an ATTE sold for $55!!!!!

Hey does anyone know if it's possible to move the visor up and down.

Those visors could come in handy to make an Episode 3 Commander Cody.

So when I get an RGS I might try and paint that visor orange that way it will look better.

I'm not sure about NZ but for Australia at least, Lego shop at home has under the star wars theme a heading saying "new clone wars sets coming July 26" so I think you guys should be the same, which to me implies stores probably have them in the store room waiting for the official release data so maybe it's just 1.5 weeks away for you.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they move. What I'm not so sure about is how the visors will fit on the Phase 2 helmets. :look: First of all, the Phase 2 helmets don't have any holes for the visors to get a grip on, and also, they might be too thick for the visors. :sceptic:

I'm sure if the shipments haven't come in yet, they will arrive very soon. Even with the embargo, somebody will break it first, like Target did with the Indy sets (and what seems to have happened with Woolworths in the UK).

I think the Lego mag said August because they were rounding up from July 26. Ie, if they'd advertised July people would have been after them from July 1. I would be amazed if they weren't available somewhere before next Saturday.

Actually, I beleive they do. I remeber seeing pictures with holes in the sides of the helmets for them to fit.

Really? Where did you see that? That must have been a custom. :sceptic:

... You ARE talking about Phase 2 clones and not about the new Phase 1s, right? :hmpf_bad: I mean, it's obvious that the new clones will have them; that was never the question. :sadnew:

My bad. I miss read it. But there are some really good custom ones out there.

Yea you could be right so I'll keep my eyes out for them.

That speeder design in the RGS is clever I would never have thought of using the tricycle body. Might have to try making my own with it.

Judging by Muttley's finds in the UK, I guess that actually the Tank and DGS are released on July 26th as well.

One week ago, I went to a Renaud-Bray store in Montreal and they told me that they would not have the clone wars sets before August 1st.

But I don't yet have enough money (300$) to buy the AT-TE and the republic gunship!

I looked through his folder and can't see any pics of that type, where are they

However, I did see that he has all the cache box pics of all the CW 2008 sets!!!

Kim-T might want to add them to the first post in the thread

Sorry if this takes up a lot of space :sadnew:

Thank you rancor for these pictures. The only new box art for me there is the TX-130S fighter tank box. Could you post bigger pics if you find them because I would know what is written in the minifig case of the fighter tank?

Is that "Clone trooper (x2)" or "??? , clone trooper"

I don't know if you guys agree but I think that Assajj's skirt/kama is not the flexible or solid plastic but a kind of fabric.

That was just judging from this pic. Don't know if this is interesting just thought I'd mention it.

And also does anyone know what the top compartment of the RGS is for.

The top compartment here.

I had to laugh when I read the first part; we've known that Ventress would have some sort of soft goods skirt for the longest time. Even since the first Toyfair. That by NO means looks like plastic, and I don't think anyone mentioned that at all, lest it were speculation in page 1, 2, or 3 when we found out she was in the set. :sweet:

Look at the instructions and find out; it isn't that hard...

I can't change the pic to a bigger format and whung always has the first pics, so this size is the only size.

It appears that yes, the troopers do seem to have different 'box-names'

One must just be 'Clone trooper' and the other may be just 'Clone Commander'

But the instruction i downloaded doesn't seems to have it, it seems to continue on book 2 but too bad book 2 start with the cockpit

That doesen't make any sense; you know you have to download both instruction manuals seperately from the site, right?

I'll take a look and see what I can see... :sweet:

EDIT: That's SO weird... And the weird thing is that Ventress's skirt looks stiff, like plastic, almost, in the instructions. But they make capes and other soft goods pieces look like that, so I'm convinced it's soft goods.

And I wonder why they didn't finish the scans; that whole section is missing from the manual. :sceptic:
