Do not pass go. Do not collect 200 points. Seriously, I am SICK AND TIRED of all these TIES; I used to buy them, but now its too repetitive. The TIE crawler was the best, and they should have stopped making 'em there. We don't need more remakes of these. Attack shuttle: not sure, sounds promising, though.

The TIE bomber was such an ugly set, looked nothing like the real thing - and the one TIE that was all blue, they included loads of grey! I swear Lego is just trying to be perverse

I swear Lego is just trying to be perverse How can you say that? The Bomber looked exactly like the real thing. Of course the blunt shooter didn't belong there but you can remove it! Although it DID have proton torpedoes. The panels which conceal it look just like the cover in the movie. If it's the shape, and I doubt that, then I really don't see what's wrong with the shape because both pods are about twice as long as that of a Tie/ln or a Tie Interceptor. The bomb bay was done rather ingeniously as well. It has all of the qualities of a Tie Bomber; what's wrong with it? A few more things: It's not dark blue. No Tie Fighter has blue in the movies, although in Episode 6 the Interceptors seemed to have a bluish hue. Which Tie that was all blue was made in grey? The only Tie Fighter Lego made in grey was an Ultimate Collector's Series Tie Advanced. You're very confusing... Although I agree that we need some grey Ties... Darth_Legois Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Had to go back heaps of pages to find this as I remembered someone mentioned the possibility of a Clone BP. This does look promising and keeps my hopes high. Will probably leave some money aside from my massive spending spree to buy multiples of these. Can't wait to see what sets come next after all of these great ones. Just keeping hope for a new Clone BP. YAY if this is true then i hope it has - 1 pilot, 3 troopers & a speeder + accesory rack But then who are your clones going to fight? Each other? The jedi OFCOURSE! And errm the at-te comes with 1 battledroid I won't like SW minifigs until the faces are yellow again. Aint gonna happen buddy.

I remember hearing reading a lot of buzz on the forums about the return of the MINIs, but that died quickly when pics of the Death Star surfaced. Could the TIE Fighter be the new MINI version? If I remember correctly, there was also a MINI Snowspeeder and official instructions for a MINI V-19. I'll admit that I do have my doubts. It would be odd to unveil them in May, then not release them until the following January, but it is plausible. EDIT: I just had a thought. What if the TIE Fighter model is in the other direction: UCS Scale!!! The TIE ln is probably the most iconic SW vehicle that has yet to receive the UCS treatment. The cashier said that they had them, just wont be released until the Midnite Madness sale. The Toys R Us in Killeen isn't doing it, so I still have to wait till Saturday for my Republic Gunship and HSD. On happier news, I picked up a Hoth Rebel Base and Dwarves Mine Defender.

Do you have a link by any chance? Anyway i am a collector of minifigs so UCS dosen't appeal to me, unless it turned out to be like the BMF lego or death star playset with figs i would be interested. Besides there are already two ucs TIEs so mod away. Anyway i am unsure as to why so many hate the idea of more clones and droids BPs. They would obviously have some new figs such as the magna guard or new clone template. Hopefully a normal Clone Comander or ARC with all the clone gear, oh and maybe that bacta tank frow the RGS. Ok the bacta tank is unlikely, but id love a ton of bacta tanks. AAT is simply a great idea especially in CIS blue deco Shutle sounds almost like taking an imperial dropship and slapping a republic logo on it...but i still want to see it. )Nightwing( Edited July 23, 2008 by The Nightwing Reborn

TK Yea it's a bit disappointing that the AT-TE has only chairs in the inside. The old one I think could fit a speeder inside and came with four clones to fill the empty spaces. So IMO I would prefer the old one with more figs and much more crammed into the interior. I think most people would agree.

I think most people would agree. But the new version is more like the "real" At-TE. In the "real" TEs are just chairs for around 20 Clones. Besides, the new Gunship has now the Speederbike. The only thing, I don´t like about the AT-TE is the console for the big artillery, above the cockpit. How can anybody control an artillery with a 1x2 plate with supporting rod?
