As for my fervor for a UCS TIE, if you've seen my MOCing tastes, you might understand a bit better. I've got quite a UCS TIE collection going. Another official set can't be a bad thing. We've already had a minifig TIE Fighter in three different sets. Unless there is a major re-design, I'm not sure another is warrented. Of course, if there was a re-design, I'd be all for it.

I wounder if that means that we will have to wait for either the Droid gunship or the rep. fighter tank. I also asked the manager at my local Toys' R' Us and see did not know very much. She did not know what sets or anything like that. She did say they will ship a whole truck load and everyone that goes should get what they want/ A page or two back someone found more pics about the DS. Because it is $400 Im not going to get it but I will definantly get the emperor of E-bay I love his new face. I like the sliding gate on the second picture. 2. I also like the surelevated command post for the death laser on the third pic, but there is no tube for the green laser. 3. The new emperor face is scarier than the new anakin minifig. 4. Luke has printed legs! 5. I don't like the new R2-D2 head in grey. 6. Not enough pieces in the trash compactor. "LEGO is offering a 12-item selection of new 2008 LEGO Star Wars sets including seven Clone Wars sets. Two of these LEGO sets, The Twilight and the Separatist Spider Droid, are exclusive to Toys"R"Us." 7 of 8 clone wras sets, Spider droid and the Twilight are both exclusives but we already knew that. I think that the other 5 might either be keychains or some of the older sets. The manager at Toys' R' Us also said that they are closing a 9PM and reopening at 12:01AM then closing around 2AM then reopening again in the morning and will be selling them in the morning, if they have any left. Hopefully they have a limit as to how many you can buy. Example, some 50 year old die hard lego star wars fan gets there the night before and camps out and he's the first one in line he goes in and buys 30 of each set. That would suck but hopfully they will have a limit and because they have a whole truck load of the there should still be enough. Agreed! 2. Well, it was hard enough to get the laser at a 45 degree angle. I reckon harder to make a tube at that angle as detailed as it would have to be. I think TLC did what we all expected them to do. They cut corners. But hey! That's TLC. 3. Minus the yellow eyes(too ROTSish) he'd look just like he did when he was lightninging Luke. 4. Yup! Albeit he had printed legs in 1999( ), these are new. Can anyone who has the new giant Millenium Falcon confirm if these are the same legs? The torso is definitely new(flesh neck, new look). 5. Yeah, but it was silvery as opposed to the rest of him being white. They just didn't want him to be all white. 6. Agreed. Also, in the Sandcrawler(finished building it a few days ago; I think it's my biggest Lego set as of now! ), I got a BRAND NEW C-3PO! He looks just like he does in these pics; dark gold. He looks nothing like the pasty color they gave him originally; I wonder if this is a mistake. If so I have a VERY rare minifig! I really like all of the sets on this list - since I don't have any TIEs (not sure why ), and an AAT; and want more clones and droids. Still, there's that set that we voted on to come that year so don't rule OT out yet. I surely won't buy the DS after all that trouble and for 400 Euros . But nevertheless it's not that bad if there won't many good new OT SW sets since City will surely bring us some very nice sets. Anyway I'm a bit disappointed since I hoped for almost one new set in January. A TIE is really ok since it's one of the existential vehicles of the OT (and consequently for the 10th birthday very likely) - but two TIE types and nothing other (and new) for the whole first part of the 10th year of SW ! Hopefully there will be some Endor and/or Hoth sets in summer and the Tantive 4 and Mon Calamari Cruiser playset in fall . At any rate I hope that TLG won't release an OT Exclusive which is more than 200 Euros (otherwise I won't be able to buy this like the amazing DS, too, which would be really ). Just take 1000 pounds to the store and look at the prices. My Wal Mart had ALL of the Clone Wars sets, but were sold out. So I'll still jst wait 2 more US days. Not counting today. How can a store have ALL of the Clone Wars sets and be sold out? That's irrelevant. Also, the Twilight and the Homing Spider Droid are Toy's 'R' Us Exclusives so your post really made no sense. I hope you can explain.

Looked like two kids saw it and fought to the death. Only they both died. I would have bought it, but I didn't want to risk there be something missing. The cashier said that the HSD and Twighlight might have been misprints.

And we have been told that they will be released the 26th. And amazon always make the prices alot higher. The RGS is 283 USD on amazon.
