Justin2224 Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Well there are always at least 2 Droidekas and 2 Magna Guard together, never just one. And people build aries of all sorts of droids, so droidekas or magna guards would be just fime IMO.
Darth_Legois Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Perhaps there's a few Ties in the Clone Wars?We could be facing a brand new design, pre-Empire Tie fighters and bombers. I can't wait to see what the new sets will be and what they'll look like Not sure if this is mentioned [Cant be botherd reading the whole thread i just get so annoyed it reminds me of the pointless fighting on the LEGO.com message boards with little 8 yr olds....] But theres Y-Wings in the CW, so we might be seeing another Y-Wing release.......

Looool, yeah you're right. Topics like this tend to go off-topic. Having another Y-wing would be cool. I've not heard any rumours on such a set, but at Jedinews they did state that their info was that another 6 sets are to be released in August 2009. We might see an Y-wing there.

Haven't we done the Y-wing to death? We have had quite a many remakes of it if i recall not to mention the UCS y wing.
Justin2224 Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Here's the link to the Republic Y-wing page. So it is a little different.
Matteo Kenobi Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Here's the link to the Republic Y-wing page. So it is a little different. Yeah it has more of a body, and it would be interesting i guess. We may see it
Justin2224 Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I dnt think we'll see the TIEs unlesh they are for the Force Unleashed. But I do think they are a high possibility, hopefully coming with one of the new Jedi from the game or Shaak Ti.
Oky Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Yeah, I can very well imagine the BTL-B Y-wing to become a set in the future. I wouldn't buy it though, unless those yellow markings turn out to be gold, resulting in the set featuring some neat golden bricks and pieces, but I highly doubt that.
Justin2224 Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 It says some were blue, so we might get some good dark blue pieces, and 2 Clone Pilots and an Astromech per set, hopefuly some new color like orange
AoNZ Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Do you think that there might be a possibility of a Shaak Ti fig? Since they've already made the headpiece.
Oky Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 (edited) It says some were blue, so we might get some good dark blue pieces, and 2 Clone Pilots... Yeah, but it also says that Anakin and Ahsoka used one of those in the same episode of SW:TCW too. So, if we should get a Y-Wing with blue markings, it is more likely that TLC will give us those two figs instead of pilots. Here is to hoping that we will get pilots. And maybe one of those blue/yellow mechanics like in the hangar in the new movie? ... and an Astromech per set, hopefuly some new color like orange Or pink, like R2's girlfriend in the new movie! Seriously, though, I really hope that after the DS, we will start getting R2s with the new print design! I wonder how TLG would do the "bubble-turret". Perhaps with a trans-clear one of these without the bug-eye pattern: Whatever it will be, I'm sure a lot of WW II airplane mocers will be very happy with that piece! Do you think that there might be a possibility of a Shaak Ti fig?Since they've already made the headpiece. That headpiece is specific to Ahsoka (Shaak has longer horns), but as we said before, she might be in one of the TFU Tie Fighter sets if those are true. Edited August 16, 2008 by Oky Wan Kenobi
browniedjhs Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 I would love the new Y-wing as a set- its interesting with the added plates that make is a little more arrow-like and the bubble turret might be a little difficult to do but i think it can be done. I don't know about any one else, and I know TLC has said no play sets but i really think its time to add to the playability- i mean we can get 35 different hogwarts casltes but we cant get an endor bunker or landing pad- or a decent hoth base so lets alteast get some playsets for the new series- something to pit these new AT-TE and RGS against
Kynergy Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Well, we can't really say no playsets. We may be getting the Palpatines Arrest sets. And we did get the Hoth Base, but that was really just a speeder, that came with the door. And I consider the Death Star a playset as well. But I know what you mean, I would love to get a small clone outpost with a gunner or something, like an Anti-Aircraft gun and a clone gunner or something. And an Endor Bunker would be AWSOME. But one thing I'v thought about, in 2011, when the Star Wars license is gone with LEGO, I think they will go out with a bang, and we'll be seeing some very awsome sets, but thats not for a while, so here's to 09
Justin2224 Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Well it would be nice to get a Battle of Christophsis or better yet, some of the B'ommar Monestary. Maybe another $500.00 set that includes the vertical battle that the AT-TE could climb. Add a minifig scale Monestary, or better yet, do them module based
Derek Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 I can almost garuntee you that we won't be getting a monastary set. I thought that that place was one of the most boring in the movie, and I think if LEGO wanted to do another $500 set, they would go for something more iconic.
Kynergy Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 An Utapau playset could be plausible. It could have many different sections, similair to the Death Star, but obviously different. Though we would probally never get it.
Darth Jokar Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Hey watz up everybody new member here all these setz sound kool but it be great if the made republic commandos battle packs from the game and books. delta and omega squads that be pretty kool.
Justin2224 Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Welcome Darth Jokar. Yes Clone Commanders would be cool, and easy for TLG to make. All they would have to do is remove the fin and paint the visor blue on the new helmets. But seeing as the game is rather violent and bloody, it probably won'y happen. Same reason we probably won't see HALO legos

All they would have to do is remove the fin and paint the visor blue on the new helmets. But seeing as the game is rather violent and bloody, it probably won'y happen. Same reason we probably won't see HALO legos It's only bloody if you play it bloody. You don't really see much blood when you shoot stuff, only when you stab someone and it splashes on your visor. Or if you play like me, and roll a bunch of Geonosian bodies down a hill, and then throw a grenade... there... Ok, so it's a violent game
Justin2224 Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 It would be cool to have, as well as alot of other EU stuff. KotOR 1 and 2, the JK series, even the original cartoon series of the Clone Wars from 03 and 04.

You get blood on your visor no matter how you kill an enemy as long as he was right next to you, even the SBDs and heavy Trando mercs. It would be cool to have, as well as alot of other EU stuff. KotOR 1 and 2, the JK series, even the original cartoon series of the Clone Wars from 03 and 04. Yeah, I agree! There's definitely some good potential in KotOR! JK I'd love to see but it's a little old. I say they SHOULD do the original cartoon series! Hasbro just released a full line of 8 figures from those series!
Justin2224 Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 So AHsbro cant complian about anything if LEGO makes Clone Wars stuff (old) And JK is old, but the OT was old when LEGO made Star Wars LEGOs.
Darth_Legois Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Republic Commando is NOT bloody.....not much anyway Even if you melee a droid you get grease on you....when you stab a trando you get green stuff not that violent.... I hope you dont play Multiplayer cos i pwn Anyway i cant see why Republic Commandos wont be made.....they rock! Besides TLC did ARC troopers..... Well Clone Commanders who were trained by ARC's
Skipper 24 Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Lego commandos might not look that good actually. There packs would probably be the right size but there helmets would be to big. But it would be nice anyway.

I'm no Lawyer but can't they get that renewed? Or did they decide not to?
