Anyhow - I'm also sick of getting lists every day. It's way too early to be getting Summer rumours anyway.

In all seriousness though, I agree with the constant lists. I think that no one should post any list at all unless they hold viable photo evidence of a retail catalogue, the sets themselves (and NOT MOCS), or statements given by TLG Employees. Sorry, but on here, seeing is believing...

Also, if you are given or find information, don't get over excited. You have most likely been duped like all the others. Don't ever see yourself as the one person who has gotten actual information regarding 2009, because that is most likely not the case. Its best that if you hear anything, to just keep it to yourself for the time being, until further light can be shed on this new information you've uncovered. Its better to keep any information hidden, rather than making a bold statement that could just blow up in your face in the end, and be mocked at for being over-confident.

But I digress..

So, who here saw the CW TV series sneak peak on Cartoon Network last night? There are a lot of LEGO opporunities in the show. Apparently Kit Fisto has a Mon Calamari padawan, so perhaps if we don't see a Home One set release, there still lies that chance of a fig release of a close-to Ackbar.

Also, if there is any intention on a new Grievous fig, he might be a bit larger than the original. In the TV series, he appears to be much larger and hulking.

I looked to see what vehicles they have, they have Y-Wings and a Naboo ship and thats about one of the only new ones, Theres Anakins Yellow JSF but we already have that.

There are a lot of Lego set opportunities that I can see, such as the Y-Wing (a rumored summer set), the Naboo luxury cruiser, and other such things. I also spotted some assassin droids in there, so I think getting that battle pack has a good chance. By the way, Plo Koon sounds so wrong! Wouldn't it be a mechanical voice? Anyways, I also saw Luminara Unduli, I hope we get a set in 2009 with her in it (non-LUL, of course).

I also hope that besides the two close-to confirmed battle packs, we get Hoth and Endor ones. Here are my (re-newed, sorta) opinions on the January sets:

Clone Battle Pack: Looks good, but the AT-RT is not the vehicle I would have chosen, but meh, good for getting those new clones. I just wish TLG would have kept the old Phase 1 helmets.

Assassin Droids Battle Pack: I never got IG-88, so this is great! I always liked the design of the Assassin droids, and speeder is okay.

Hyena Droid: It's okay, just a double Vulture Droid to me. The space battle droids are okay, green marines would have been better.

AAT: I was really hoping for the tan version, but oh well. Yoda doesn't look CW-ified to me, but then again, they are prelim.

Republic Shuttle: I wonder why the Republic has these and the Gunships. I'll get it for a complete collection and Mace.

Darth Vader's TIE: Not something I would get, but good for OT fans.

First thing, both Anikin and Asoka have to be present i the y-wing.They both were in it in the film so i assume lego will follow that.

Second it looks like this ( for those who don't know ) I am still looking for the lego version but i think im getting closer , I will post when found.

I'll write some comments on your thoughts if you don't mind(I love reviewing reviews ):

CBP: It's not an AT-RT; originally, if you recall, the AT-RT was a ten dollar set in and of itself. Plus, this is half the size and it seats two clones.

ADBP: Agreed! Not that I don't have IG, but hey! I always wanted one with a straight arm ever since the video game.

HDB: Agreed! Dare I say it, but it needs some stickerage. Also, I don't think the green marines are fully canon.

AAT: Well, if TLC will make the Queen's Episode 3 Starship(I know it's not confirmed; I'm just saying.) why not make an Episode 1 version? We've been WAY overdue for some Episode 1 sets and the N-1 + DSF and the MTT are NOT sufficient! Yes, we were promised two things which this pic does not reveal: Whorm Loathsom, and a CW Yoda. He's clearly the old head.

RS: These are to transport VIPs, and the are MOST certainly faster and sleeker. They are the lead in to the Imperial Shuttle(the Lambda Class we all know and love!), and allow me to rephrase your statement: I wonder why the Empire has these and Imperial Landing Crafts.

Thanks for posting that image; yes, the trailer clearly shows both of them in the Y-Wing, and you can tell because Ahsoka is manning the gunner's turret in the back while Anakin is flying.

Yeah, but I happen to have a theory that will require some questions getting answered.

Are the Assassin droids seen shooting at Anakin and someone else or something in the movie(which I haven't seen yet)?

Are there, at any point, brownish clone troopers flying through space?

Now if either AREN'T, and this is the FIRST part of my theory, then they are from the series. Now if we look at Hasbro's slideshow picture of wave 3 or 4 or something of animated CW figs(3 3/4 inch) the IG Assassin droid is present as well as a clone Space Trooper.

Hasbro is ALSO making the same CW Y-Wing(again, 3 3/4 inch) and I believe has shown a picture of it.

Now, it would appear that if the Assassin Droids are NOT from the movie, this means Lego is making sets from the series. Otherwise, can someone explain the Assassin Droids Battle Pack?

Plus, was the Hyena Bomber in the movie? I think someone said it wasn't, so it's certain that TLC is making sets from the series.

I think this is a great design, a great opportunity for a little produced color(in SW anyway), yellow, to be made, and hopefully it'll have another Clone Pilot or two, maybe even a basic clone as the gunner.

I think that the Y-wing(assuming we get it) should have 2 Clone Pilots and R3-S6. There are black assassins in Ziro's Palace in the movie. In the Clone Wars Visual Guide there are brown Battle Droids, but I don't see any brownish Clones. And I think the Hyena is in the series.

I´ve got news about the January wave of the new Star Wars sets.

The Assasian Droid BP includes two black IGs and three silver ones.

Vaders TIE includes the new Vader from 10188.

AAT doesn´t come with 2 SBDs and one BD. It comes with three SBDs and two BDs

The prices exactly are:

BPs - 13.00€

Vulture Bomber 26.99€

Vaders TIE - 36.99€

AAT - 49.99€

Shuttle - 69.99€

And the sets are listed for February, not January!
