ADHO15 Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 It says: 7677 Republic Drop ShipClone Pilot (Clone Wars), battle droid (two), Clone Trooper (four) (Clone Wars) 2009 I doubt this is true as we've never heard of this before and if LEGO was going to use '7677', they would have used it with the summer 08 line, not now. However, it sounds like a good set and I hope it's true.

It would be a good moc to make though..... J
Justin2224 Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Well thats funny. I said before that the Clone Battle Pack should be a Republic version of the Imperial Dropship with similar minifigs. And the number for the Imperial Dropship was 7667, and the 'Republic Dropship' is 7677. Odd
Darth Jokar Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 just found out the 6 new sets will be released late december in U.S.A
ptdapen Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 just found out the 6 new sets will be released late december in U.S.A Well that's really great for you, assuming you're telling the truth. Its kind of useless just to tell us you know what they are. Also, to comment on the "confirmed sets" with solid proof, I'll start out that I like about half the new line. Hopefully you guys won't find my comments out of topic (this seems to have drifted a little), but if so, I apologize. Clone Trooper Battle Pack: The crown jewel of the new releases, and I'm quite sure people will agree with me. We've been waiting for those cheap (or at least cheaper) ways to get the little soldiers. In the end, I'll probably buy four to fill up all of the pilot slots with those gunners as replacements on the Republc Gunship. Assassin Droid Battle Pack: I would call this a very strange move on Lego. As an army builder, its quite useless to me, and I really think army building is what Battle Packs are for. Some people may want an army of those droids, though. I would buy a maximum of one, and that's being generous. Hyena Droid Bomber: Not very attractive to me, especially with the weird double head concept. The space battle droids are pretty interesting, there color scheme can be bad or good with other things. I probably won't buy this one. Darth Vader's TIE Fighter: A solid looking ship, with classical box art. I already have a TIE Advanced, so this one will probably be passed, even with the new color scheme. Separatist AAT: The front side of it that's over the disc shape thing (what is it called?)looks kind of awkward in my opinion. The color fits in with the other blue themed vehicles, but even so, it also looks weird. However, this comes with a Yoda minfigure, which I don't have, which is a deciding point in my purchase. Plus the CIS could use some help against the Republic. So I'll probably buy one. Republic Attack Shuttle: This looks like a miniature version of the Republic Gunship. I can't really judge the weird yellow colors because these pictures are only preliminary. I find it interesting that the flick-fire missiles, if they really are flick-fires, are coming out of a hole instead of just above it. One more good thing is the Mace Windu, and I only have an LUL of him. Like most sets that aren't battle packs, I'll be purchasing only one. All those purchases are hopeful, but I think I'll be able to manage since I'll only be buying half. I suppose I'll have to wait for the prices.
Tarfful Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 (edited) Republic Attack Shuttle: I can't really judge the weird yellow colors because these pictures are only preliminary. Hopefully this is the last time that this has to be repeated - the yellow on the RAS is canon! See for yourself: Edited September 10, 2008 by Tarfful
KimT Posted September 10, 2008 Author Posted September 10, 2008 Thanks for clearing that up Tarfull. Now who dares building a SNOT version of that? It looks like TLG have downsized this baby IMO the wings should be SNOT and 1 brick wide. Nevermind - I can't wait to see the real box art and design of the shuttle. Those prelims we've seen so far doesn't really justify any comments on it so far.
Navy Trooper Fenson Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 My german LEGO Magazin tells that on 3rd October is Lego Club day in Legoland Germany and the first 250 children get free Mini 8028 TIE Fighters.
Oky Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Yeah, that shuttle does look kinda downsized in comparison with that reference pic, especially the cockpit! Doesn't Ahsoka easily walk out of the front of it in the movie? Then it's definitely too small! Oh well, at least it's cheaper this way. My German LEGO Magazine tells that on 3rd October is Lego Club day in Legoland Germany and the first 250 children get free Mini 8028 TIE Fighters. Cool! I do hope that those will be available for purchase at some point too, though.
Lord Santos Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 I will soon post a review of the mini TIE Fighter and the mini V-19 Torrent... Mini-Mania
Trudop561 Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Where can I buy the minis Tie, snowspeeders and V-19 Torrent? It's strange. They're not brickmaster exclusives, they're not on S@H. Are they impulse sets?
AoNZ Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Over on Jedinews they said that Anakin's Jedi Starfighter and Hailfire Droid are going to be re-packaged into the clone wars packaging.
KimT Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 That would make sense since they've put it next to the Clone Wars sets on shop.lego.com And Anakin has the animated head in the Starfighter. Though it is a little "cheap" repacking the sets, especially the Hailfire Droid which has got nearly nothing to do with the Clone Wars - releasewise.
Navy Trooper Fenson Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I think that the Halfire will be in one episode of the show, otherwise it wouldn´t make any sense. P.S. The box pics of the repackings are already aviable.
trooperdavinfelth Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Indeed... I'd seen the first already but the second is surprising. But not really since it didn't really have any CW heads in it. I think they did this so as to not leave B-1s and B-2s in the cold in the second CW lineup when there's a Clone BP but no B-1/B-2 BP.

Light Light Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Well, I'm glad Anakin's Star Fighter is being re-released. I'd like to get one before they go out. As for the Hailfire, the same can be said for both the DGS and the Homing Spider Droid. We never saw either of these in the film, so there is a good chance they will be featured in the series.
darkrebellion Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I think all the vehicles the TLC have released about the CIS are definitely a must in the new TV show . Just think, how Goerge can miss a Hailfire Droid or a HSD in the new series ?

In Australia, Anakin's star Fighter and the hailfire droid are almost ALLWAYS in stock, usually at a discount... I'm not that compelled to get either of them, i'd rather hold out for OT sets

JimboJones Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Yeah tacomans right. I australia you can get almost any set thats been out for the last year. but recently i havent seen any summer 2007 sets anywhere but i have what i need.
KimT Posted September 13, 2008 Author Posted September 13, 2008 Is this the thread for discussing where sets are available or not? -NO Is this thread dedicated to discuss rumors and upcoming sets? -YES What's so hard to understand? There's a pinned topic for discussing the availability of sets, why discuss it here? And DON'T answer, just stay on topic.
Justin2224 Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 (edited) I found this video on Youtube and it has a rumor list. Towards the end, at the bottom, there is the Tri-droid and Ahsoka's Fighter. Edited September 14, 2008 by Justin2224
darkrebellion Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 I think the list in that video is highly unprobable because if you put attention on the video the list is the same as one of the many rumors lists posted here , thanks for the video Justin2224.
