i was looking through this brickshelf gallery, and it seemed as if the 8014 clone walker battle pack will no longer be a US$9.99 set like other battle packs. seems as if it's going to go the way of the castle battle packs which are going for US$12.90. thought the boxart seemed to be bigger (or at least longer) than usual.

i hope not though! please let it stay below US$10!!!!

I think it's really hard to tell what the box size is, just from a small, unclear, prelim image.

Of course it could still happen that it will be this price. I hope not though.

Those images are obviously warped. You can tell they are stretched. I highly doubt they will be more than $10 usd...

I think the price is going to be $10, no more but no less :sadnew: . If you look closely at the pics they look really thin so is highly unprobable they will be like that and well after all they are still prelim pics :classic: .

I forced myself not to get the Hoth base.... :sadnew:

Since there might be new Hoth sets [i love hoth troopers & snowtroopers!]

So if there arent any Hoth sets I will be kicking myself...

I highly hope they arnt more than $20 Aus. :sceptic:

erm.. i think that's not gonna be possible. haha. isn't the usual price for USD10 battle packs in aussie AUD25-30?

Umm, no, it's $19.99, a quick look at lego shop at home would tell you that.

I see it as possible that the price of battle packs will go up in US $s and stay the same in Aus $s as when battle packs first came out the Aus $ was a lot weaker than it is now.

Both Battle Packs are exactly the same size as the four already released.

Which means that the price will be exactly the same.

4 figs and some bricks...same ol' same ol'.

So quit whining about the BP's price please

I don't want to bother you, Darth_Legois, but from what we know until now there will be only one Hoth set coming out next year and this set will be some sort of big BP. It might include some Snowies, some Rebels, a turret, hopefully a Tauntaun and some commander(s). But I don't think that it'll be some sort of Hoth Base. Consequently I'd try to get the Hoth Rebel Base, too. :sweet:

Why would LEGO break such a good tradition? In January for the last coupe years we've gotten two $9.99 sets, two $19.99 sets, one $39.99 set, and a $49.99 set. So it would only make sense.

Its highly unlikely that they'll break the Star Wars Battle Pack tradition of being $10.00 US. However, I will say I'm not too impressed by the walker. I don't like its design, even if it is preliminary. Another downfall to having a walker is that it'll be hard to make any MOCs out of the parts, which is what I did for that dreadful Imperial Dropship. Just my little input. :classic:

I think the Clone Walker is pretty well designed. But I'm confused as to why there is a clone with black arms? Is it in the movie?

The gunners in the movie have got grey arms. The arms on the pictures look also grey for me.

I heard in one of this LEGO.com forums that they will never sell Battlepacks for more than 13.99€/25-30AUSD/10$. But I don´t know how reliable that is.

Wow, we here in the Netherlands wished that were true... The major toyshops here sell the battlepacks for a standard price of € 14,99... But they try to rip of customers with almost every Lego set. Luckily I also know independant retailers who sell the battlepacks for € 10,95.

Well, there WILL be:

2 $9.99/£8.99 sets (The BPs)

1 $19.99/£19.99 ( ) set (The Hyena)

1 $39.99/£29.99 set (The TIE)

1 $49.99/£39.99 set (The AAT)

1 $69.99 (?)/£49.99 set (The Republic ship)

I'm VERY sure of the UK prices for these sets!

09 ON!

I have a feeling that some prices might go up, but the prices of the BP's will not. They don't look any bigger than previous BP, and there is nothing to make them more than $10. Figures sell for around $2 or 3$, and with 4 in the set the price is reasonable.

anyone noticed that these sets are small to medium-sized ones compared to the bigger sets in the initial release?

the biggest sets for this release, like the AAT or the RAS, i don't think they should exceed US$50? doesn't look very huge nor are there many figures.
