Wow that picture looks great... perfect scenery *wub*

I'm, like many, not sure about Anakin's face... but I love that hair already *wub*

The AT-AP and the Hailfire Droid looks cool as well *sweet*

And I quite like Anakin's fighter a lot too *wub*

Clone Wars on ;-)

I found this on lowlug.nl. Apparently from the booklet that came with LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga:

Excellent find Sam ;-)

Action on Geonosis finally !! Sure there aren't any AT-AP there, sure there are no ep 3 schockies there, sure the droids are not sand red (...) :-P

I love Ani's new face !! Really a cool cartoony look which is great !! And that new hairpiece is just *wub* But like I said before, I don't want TLC to release only cartoony new MFs !! I would love all the new characters both in regular and cartoony looks ;-) Having a new Shaak Ti for instance that is cartoony would not be cool next to a non cartoony Kit Fisto |-/

That At-AP looks sweet with its third leg in front !! The Hailfire is small though, but its really cool !!

Oh boy how I can wait for january ;-)

The Hailfire Droid is way too small compared to everything else. I like the original version much better. It is more to scale and looks like the movie version. They just cut this one down so they could pack some droids with it and sell more of them. Not a big fan.

Hmmm. Not so sure this is supposed to be geonosis *yoda* . It could be some where featured in the up and coming cartoon. Then again i could be completely wrong :-D .

OK, OK - you won!

These sets are really very nice!

It's no question that I'd buy all SW sets (even CW, EU and FU) if I'd have the money and the place to collect them. But since this is regrettably not the case and I'm very interested in some of the new City sets, too, I (will) collect only OT sets because I like OT the most.

By the way: Since these CW series are - to my knowledge - not shown on the European TV channels, might it be that a lot of these CW sets which are going to be released next year are only available in America? I mean: It was not seldom that special sets (not only SW sets) were only released in the US and Canada since they have an other Lego Company than the Europeans.

The shows were shown on the cartoon network in the UK and the dvd's are available to buy. So we will get them too. :-)

It appears that the chain-links on the hailfire droid are held on with a transparent 8x8 radar dish.

-Chuck

Yeah, that was mentioned 2 or 3 times in this thread already...

Yes, this has been noticed before, but it is great news just the same. The last time I got new chain links was in 744!

Hey! You beat me!

I still like it, I just thought it was more detailed (finer curls) from the other shots... :'-(

I suspect it was. :-/ I still want the entire line though...

Sorry, I didn't have time to look back in the thread to see if anyone mentioned it :-/

Ahh, now I see how the treads are supported. I didn't understand it when the whosit went hey-hey a few pages back but I do now that Chuck mentioned the piece in question. GEE! That's an awful small Hailfire droid! Only 8x8! And with the tread... That's still waaayyy underscaled.

Klaus-Dieter is talking about the '08 CG Clone Wars shows while you are talking about the '05 animated Clone Wars shows. The new LEGO line is based on next year's Saturday series which has not yet been confirmed for European TV. But the show won't be out until Sept-Nov '08 so there is plenty of time...

I think I likes Anakins Face from 2005 better than the new face. It's too much detailed. But the hair piece is nice. We'have seen the last 8 years many new hair pieces in many (new) colours. :-)
