We've had alot of people saying they have a comfirmation from TLG but it never happens :cry_sad:.

But I will stay optimistic about this one because we've had source after source say that same list.

Keep your fingers crossed for the Venator.

Hopefully the creation of the Venator will be the creation of Admiral Yularen, and a SD bridge.

I think it says on that forum page that the information was directly from a Lego employee - quite reliable...

(If the poster is telling the truth... which I think they are)

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Oh boy have I heard that a lot of times.

No offense, but a lot of people claim to either work for or knowing a superimportant LEGO employee and thus they know every secret within the TLG.

Sorry but as stated on FBTB in that particular thread, such comments and claims just don't cut it.

The list may or may not be true, but it certainly hasn't been confirmed by TLG.

Give me box pics which aren't preliminary or a press release from TLG with the set names and numbers and then I'll move them from the "unconfirmed" list.

I've found some more at Target.com that I don't think has been mentioned already.

LEGO Star Wars Mini Impulse Sets

There is a mini V-19 Torrent Fighter and a mini Soulless One.

It says they are available in Target stores but not online.

I don't collect minis and in my opinion, these don't look very good.

Enjoy :classic:

I don't collect minis either, though I do think they look good. I wonder why its called an impulse.

The V-19 torrent is the normal mini but is just shown upsidedown. weird but its good. I like the grievous starfighter, i might start collecting clone wars mini spaceships.

They sell small cheap ones to try and get people interested and buy the system sets.

Thanks ADHO15 for the link  . That look like great MINIs and I will get both for sure, the V-19 is the already know one but the Grevious Starfighter is totally new. In my opinion the Grevious one is the best MINI ever produced (It looks so accurate and great  ).

Those look great. Never have I been interested in minis before. I'll definately get one or two.

Halomaster96: Will you please calm down? You're acting as if we've been off topic for over two pages, and its only been a few posts. You gave your opinion on the Minis, now its someone else's chance.

Oh boy, if that's true, I'll be so happy! I've been wanting that torrent ever since I saw the pics of it, and now I can just pick it up from my local target store! :cry_happy: And that Soulless One... it's not bad, but seems a bit deformed. Being a Grievous fan, I might get one of those too.

But wait... Are they being sold together, or why are they on the same page? That wouldn't make much sense looking at the price.

What does the "AST" stand for? And are they really available already?

Thanks, ADHO15! The Grievous fighter looks pretty sweet, and the V-19 looks the same. I just may pick these up, although I'm afraid I could get hooked on these MINIs...

Really. You have 18 posts and you are acting like you run the place. KimT isn't even that harsh  .

Anyway, has anyone even see these at Target? The "Find it at your Target Store" isn't working for me. :sceptic: The fact that is says "assortment" makes me think there may even be more. TIE and Snowspeeder anyone?

Posted

I checked my local Target today and I didn't see them.

I wonder if they will come out for the holidays as sort of a stocking-stuffer? :sceptic: At any rate, I think they look great!

Sorry, I didn't mean to overreact  . I just thought now that if it comes out in 2009, then it is on topic.

Check on those shelfs next to the checkout counter. They might put the Tie and Snowspeeder in the set or there might be other sets with a few minis.

Now that looks great.

I think I'm the one to decide when to stay on topic or not.

And since we're still in 2008, I'll allow newly released 2008 sets to be discussed.

Nice save.

On a related note; Is Grevious' starfighter really called the "Soulless One?" I'm pretty sure that it is just a droid bomber from S.W. Battlefront II.

In my opinion, minis are partially a waste of space, but yet can come in handy too. For example, Grevious' bomber is somewhat out of proportion in the front, but (I) could use those pieces for mocs.

Soulless One is Grievous' personal Belbullab-22 Starfighter.

Does anyone know if the sets are based on scenes from the film or series? The AAT looks like it could be from 'Ambush' (the first episode of the series) but it has Christophsis on the box.

The AAT was on Christophis. Yoda was also on Christophis in the movie, but he never fought an AAT there.

Oh yeah... cool. The AAT also has the new Pirate spyglass in the piston thingy in the back... They're showing up everywhere, aren't they?

After seeing this new image of the AAT, Yoda doesn't look half bad. Luckily for us its still sand green, with great detail on the forehead, and I think I can spot some white/grey hair on the back of his head.
