The Who Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 ...with 5 wookies, chewbacca,... Did it ever occur to you that Chewbacca is a wookie?
Tim Bit Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 Did it ever occur to you that Chewbacca is a wookie? Chewbacca is an important wookie. Back on topic 2009 is turning out to be a great year. I'm disipointed that the Venator has so little peices.
ROCON Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Hi, (kind of new here) I found these pictures on Eurobricks they are prototypes for the Corparate Alliance tank Droid and Count Dookus Solar Sailor. These aren't mine and I'm not sure if they are real. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2303081
Justin2224 Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Those have been posted here several times, and are not afficial, they may have been prototypes, but they are not real.
Matteo Kenobi Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Hi, (kind of new here) I found these pictures on Eurobricks they are prototypes for the Corparate Alliance tank Droid and Count Dookus Solar Sailor. These aren't mine and I'm not sure if they are real. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2303081 Well first of all, welcome! Yes we have seen those pictures before, but it does give us an idea of what these things will look TLC and Lego-afied. My guess is at least the Tank Droid will be CIS colors, whether or not the Solar Sailor is, I'm not entirely sure.
Rune Haako Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 I just hope the Tank Droid is better than the first one they released.
WookieeWarrior Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 According to one of the LEGO reps at FBTB, those weren't prototypes. They were fan made creations on display.
Penitent Tangent Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 (edited) I apologise if any of this has been posted before, but I found some information about the 2009 sets for the UK, along with some (rather blurry) images. Assassin Droid: £8.99 http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h203/Win...nt=17759140.jpg Clone Walker: £8.99 http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h203/Win...t=1775907a0.jpg Hyena Droid Bomber: £17.99 http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h203/Win...t=1775921a0.jpg Vaders Tie: £26.99 http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h203/Win...nt=17759380.jpg Seperatist AAT: £35.99 http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h203/Win...nt=17759450.jpg Republic Shuttle: £44.99 http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h203/Win...nt=17759520.jpg All of them will be available on the 19th of January. But again, there's no Ahsoka's Starfighter, so I think it's safe to assume that set is some kind of exclusive.. And I imagine it'll be around Edited December 3, 2008 by Penitent Tangent
SWMAN Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 If you checked the first post, you would know you don't need to post the pictures. The prices are fine, but the pictures are unnecessary.
ROCON Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Sorry to interrupt but on Youtube there's been rumor that a Tri-Droid is going to come out in Fall of 2009. I think they may have confused it with the Tank Droid. ( Still it would be nice to add something new for the Separatists.)

Good find but we already have those pics at the first post! Anyway, I still think there is going to be an Ahsoka fighter. AFter all, they already have the picture but I doubt it is going to be exclusive. As Lego can earn a lot of money from it!

Tim Bit Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 I do almost every time I check this topic. Do you know a website where I can convert the prices? There are no "trusted" websites, that would give you good info. Although if it is dire, backtrack a few pages and you might find some prices.
JimBee Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 PS: Simple answer is "No!" Nooooooooooooooooo!!!! How badly I wanted a chrome hilt in this set... About the CIS vs. TF colors, I really prefer the TF brown over the CIS blue-white color scheme, but I guess that's just the Clone Wars style.
Hewman Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 (edited) Here are some piece counts and prices in Australian $s which have come via a reputable Australian seller STAR WARS: 7748 - Corporate Alliance Tank Droid - 216 Pieces - 40 AUD 7749 - Echo Base - 155 Pieces - 40 AUD 7778 - Millennium Falcon Mid Scale - 60 AUD 8036 - Separatists Shuttle - 257 Pieces - 60 AUD 8037 - Anakins Y-Wing Starfighter - ? Pieces - 100 AUD 8038 - Star Wars Endor Battle Playset - 887 Pieces - ? AUD 8039 - Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser - 1169 Pieces - 230 AUD It looks like we're hitting the 20 cent a piece mark here in Aus, I guess this makes the new Y-wing about 500 pieces and the Endor set $150+ depending on the number of figs. I'm quite happy with the price of the separatists shuttle but I'm not sure what sort of Falcon you get from what will be around 300 pieces. Edited December 5, 2008 by hewman

Im a bit sceptic of the MF but the rest sound great! The Echo base and tank droid look pretty cheap
legokuate Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 I do almost every time I check this topic. Do you know a website where I can convert the prices? You can use www.xe.com. Is the one I use, but remember that prices in Europe are higher . Converting would just give you an aproximate price.
