Hyena Droid Bomber priced at $19.99 Darth Vader's TIE Fighter at $29.99 Armoured Assault Tank at $49.99 Republic Attack Shuttle at $59.99 All will be released on January 1st 2009. With the despcriptions of the sets I notice a few new "features": - The RAS has dropping bombs under the wings and it doesn´t mention any carry compartment so I think it will be occupied by the flick fire feature. - The AAT still has the detachable speeder in its description so maybe after all it is true. - The new droid in the HDB are called Rocket Battledroids and the Hyena itself has a bomb dropping feature and a rocket feature. This new wave looks great with some new designs and finally the diversity of ships .

Darth Caedus Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 (edited) Over here in the states, it has been pretty customary in the past several years for January sets to be availible several weeks early, by mid-December, just in time for Christmas. However, I talked to a Lego Store employee, who claimed that "everything that is coming out for this year is out, and if anything new is coming, it won't be put out until January 2nd" (not exact quote). This is very distressing, as I don't want the 'flying dumpster' Twilight or overpriced RGS for Christmas - I'm much more excited for the AAT, Hyena, Ahsoka's starfighter...has anyone had any info to the contrary? I think the droids in the Hyena Droid are just called jet droids or something similar.

I like the fact that we get the clone gear in black. Most of the pieces look better this way, especially the pistols. They already looked good in dark bley, but in black they look more like weapons rather than power drills. It's good that we get these in a different color. This way we'll have more variety in our commanders and captains. Also, this gives us hope that we might get them in even more colors in the future, like for example orange! (Cody anyone? ) The walker is growing on me... but it still looks stupid. I'm definitely gonna mod it into a one-seater.

The Rancor Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 For all intense and purposes, TLG has called the special Clone, a Clone Gunner, so I'll call him that from now on. Gotta agree with everyone else, the balck accessories are cool, but where are the sets with guns for the gunners?
