Well after all the AAT comes with an speeder and I just get how dissapointed I am :hmpf_bad: . That speeder looks like crap, just looking at the design looks extremly generic :thumbdown: . Also the AAT doesn´t features anything really special in function terms :cry_sad: .

Indeed, I'd have prefered a entry ramp at the back and a STAP

But I still love the set and I'd have paid the £40 for it even if it only came with two battle droids

...as it is we get 2 mini figs and 5 droids, thats a hell of an improvement over the first AAT

Whoa. That looks...... horrible.

It may look horible but its at a bad angle and also prelim.

If you have good eyes read the description it says it has a speeder.(for those let down by the AAT this is our chance)

I think its not long enough. I hate to say it, but to me it looks like a stubby turd. I'm waiting on pics of the Dooku fig. Hopefull he'll include a curved saber hilt that isn't just another one of those Asajj hilts.

Thanks for the link. Whether this is true or not, it looks pretty good. I'm glad that the Tank droid is the Snail tank, I've been wanting one of those. MF, Y-Wing, RSD, and Echo base we already knew about, but it seems like the Endor bunker Battle set is supposed to be in space, but that would be stupid- the fans want an Endor bunker! And then there's the Separatist Shuttle... I thought that it would be a Nemodian shuttle, but this MTT shuttle is still cool. I wonder if it will be an Episode I set or a CW one... and to top it all off, we got a picture of the MINI Venator, which looks pretty sweet. :thumbup:

Yes, the AAT looks wonderful! But the speeder is a real piece of crap... it looks like the speeder from the MTT, without any details or functions...

Yes. And that looks like crap, too. :hmpf_bad: It looks like a bunch of giant slopes slapped together, like the Sith Infiltrator, but worse. I really hope that they make it a lot sleeker.

EDIT: Regarding the Solar Sailor, I read the little description on the bottom, and it looks like it will come with Count Dooku, (two?) Magnaguards, and his little speeder.

It's interesting that they use the old TIE fighter canopy again. I'm guessing the speeder is hidden under those.

And finally we're getting a 1x12 smooth slope! :thumbup:

Sure, it might be a bit strange looking but at least it's not the usual grey spaceship that we normally get. Plus, it sounds like it will come with a decent amount of minifigs, and who knows what features it will have (deploying sail please TLC!). Dark red is always nice as well.

Alright, you can all burn me at the stake now! :tongue:

Just so you know, don't trust those pictures (the non-lego ones). They are simply what one person thought the name suggested as a set, they are not even confirmed sets, still only romours. So dont get too exited/depressed yet, until we see proper pics. :wink:

Sorry mate, we're not... Its just the angle of the ship, is a 3x12 slope :sad:

However, back on topic...

I must say, i think the solar sailor is getting unfairly treated. The set doesn't look that bad IMO, and has a lot of potential. It looks as if it can prehaps fold out for a parachute (SP?). Also, its not stubby as people have said, again, its the angle of the pic, and the fact its only patially folded out. Fully folded in/out it will look better than the 1/2 way it is in the pic. Besides, it is prelim (well... kinda anyway) and could still change before final production.

All the sets look... OK to me. Im really dissapionted about the lack of OT/PT, its all focused on CW ATM :sceptic: . I'll get vaders tie, and thats it.

I'm loving the sound of that endor battle set though, and endor :oh:

Same here, but I'm more concerned about what kind of a set it would be. If it's really a C-9979 landing craft (which would be weird because it doesn't have anything to do with a shuttle), it would have to be HUGE to be nearly in scale. It could be ISD scale, but what would be the point in that? It wouldn't be able to transport anything but minis. :sceptic: Therefore, it's either a mini or some kind of shuttle from a future CW episode that we don't know of yet.

Don't worry, I kinda like it too. :wink: I just think it looks kinda fat from this angle.

Don't get your hopes up for a sail. :sadnew: It's practically impossible to make a deploying one, and it doesn't look like it has such a feature anyway. They could make an attachable one, but with the ship itself being this big, it would have to be humongous! :wacko: Besides, that would only make the set much more expensive.

This set will probably be around $40 and only includes 1 fig and 2 droids, and you think it has a decent amount of figs? :look: You have low standards, my friend.

I'm still bummed about the fact that the assassin droid BP doesn't include any CIS stickers. :hmpf_bad: Now, all it's good for is its silver and dark blue pieces. :sadnew:

Yes, but it would still have to be huge. If you really want one, get some cloth, make sails out of it, and build a Technic construction that can hold it. Then you can just add it onto the Sailer. :wink:

I agree with some of you (it looks good) it seems that its going to have many actions (opening wings, canopy), but I thought Dooku's sailor was'nt coming out until next August? For USD I think it's going to be $20 because its going to be 40 in Australia. It seems pretty small though.

$20 in the US seems really unlikely. If you look at it for a while, you realize... Its BIG!

At a guess i would say its $40-$50USD

and $65-$100 in AUST

Where did it say it is $40 in AUST???

Wow, the guy who gave his thumbs up for the Solar Sailor should get fired; what a piece of ... !!!! All the proportions are wrong, it's a meatball on a stick! Look at it, just look at it!!! This is truly the first time ever (well, the old AT-ST joines it) that LEGO has really let me down with a design...
