Derek Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 (edited) From Brickset: If you're near a LEGO brand store (Brighton, Milton Keynes or Bluewater) you should be able to grab some 2009 sets before Christmas (...)"they have both new Indy sets (car chase & Nazi plane), both new Star Wars 'army builder' sets, new Jedi starfighter & clone assault gun-boat thing..." What is the "clone assault gun-boat thing? Maybe the Fighter Tank? Or a new set? Edited December 21, 2008 by darthperson
KimT Posted December 21, 2008 Author Posted December 21, 2008 What is the "clone assault gun-boat thing? Maybe the Fighter Tank? Or a new set? Nope. Just the January wave of sets. Clone Battle Packs and so forth. Check the first post for the complete list.

Snake...SNAKE...SNAAAAKE?! Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 the attack ship with Windu
Darth Legolas Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 the attack ship with Windu Oh. But....why the heck would they call it a boat? Did they see "ship," and take ship as boat and not as space ship?
KimT Posted December 21, 2008 Author Posted December 21, 2008 Oh. But....why the heck would they call it a boat? Did they see "ship," and take ship as boat and not as space ship? Let it go now. The list of everything we know so far is in the first post. Now let's get back to discussing the rumored sets. Come January, I'll update the first post and remove the released sets. Then we can get down to some serious speculation and discussion on the 2009 Summer and Autumn sets
Klaus-Dieter Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Thank you very much for the list, KimT! Great to here that TLG decided to release the Home One set! Surely it won't be the whole ship - but it'll surely be great and give us at long last Ackbar (and perhaps even Mon Mothma - I hope) ! Btw: Has someone heard something new about the possible Tantive 4 UCS playset? Klaus-Dieter
Derek Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 (edited) Just had an idea: Do you think Mon Mohtma could use either the new IJ Willie hair, or new queen hairpiece, or even the HP Umbridge hairpiece in dark orange? Edited December 21, 2008 by darthperson
Tim Bit Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Just had an idea: Do you think Mon Mohtma could use either the new IJ Willie hair, or new queen hairpiece, or even the HP Umbridge hairpiece in dark orange? Quite possibly but we don't even know if she'll be included in the set or not.

Quite possibly but we don't even know if she'll be included in the set or not. I totally agree with TimBit. If there was Mon Mothma included in this set it's imo very supposably that she'll wear one of these hair pieces. But we even don't know yet if she'll be included in this set or not. Of course I hope so - how would that be - but I think that the chances for that are low. This set will surely come with an Admiral Ackbar minifig. And when you remember one of these chats we were able to read then TLG even planed to include two Endor Rebel Troopers. And since it'll supposablybe a set for 100-120 Euros I fear that TLG will only include two minfigs. An annotation to the Mid-scale Millennium Falcon Edited December 22, 2008 by Klaus-Dieter

The Who Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 (edited) edit: wrong topic Also, I don't know if I'm right, but I think that all of the side "spikes" on the solar sailor fold up to make it look longer, for those complaining. And if you can see a fig's hand in through the cockpit window, then there has to be some sort of interior. And, yes another "and," Something has to be able to go inside the sailor if the back grey hatches open up, whether it may be a sail or the speeder. EDIT: Another thing-- --That looks like a medical droid on the sailor's box, with a new head, of course. Edited December 22, 2008 by KimT
CloneMe Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Are we sure we have the prices right for the us. I looked at toysrus and the AAT and RAS are both 5 dollars cheaper than we say. THats not like toysrus to under price something.
Klaus-Dieter Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I forgot to make an addition to the list from Wikipedia somebody posted some time ago: I really don't think that TLG will release the two remainded sets from the poll for the TRU exclusive set yet in 2009. But I can well imagine that TLG will release the Palpatine's Arrest set and the Slave One set in the beginning of 2010. And - like in some of the last years - it might then be that these sets will already be for sale around Christmas. So this list would make sense. That's only a thought. What do you think? Klaus-Dieter
KimT Posted December 22, 2008 Author Posted December 22, 2008 I've added the guessed EUR prices by Klaus-Dieter. Now we need some smart US and UK guy/gal to reason their prices.

Penitent Tangent Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid - £20 Echo Base - £25 Ashoka's Starfighter & Vulture Droid - Already been seen in the UK for £30 Count Dooku's Solar Sailer - £40-45 Pirate Tank - £30 Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser - £80 Mid-scale Millennium Falcon - £80 Separatists Shuttle - £25-30 Anakin's Y-wing Starfighter - £50 The Battle of Endor - £80 Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser - £125 But again, that's just a direct translation of the costs, some of them could be cheaper and some could even be more expensive, but most of them sound about right.. The Falcon is a little more expensive than I would have expected, but it's hard to say without really knowing anything about the set. The only one that really strikes me as odd is the Dooku set, that is very expensive considering that set, so that one is either wrong or the price is being hugely inflated because of it being exclusive. Also, the big sets like the Republic Cruiser are usually only £90, 125 would be an odd price point unless it's bigger than normal.

The Falcon price is nothing like I have heard from a very reliable source (posted many pages back now), it'd be more like $60. Also the Echo Base price I believe was much closer to $40.
