I think it's DE-volving. :-P Mando armor is super-tough, but Stormy armor... not so much. :-D

Try outfitting an entire army with Mando armour. Especially since it's made of a rare metal

"A hundred Mandalorians is an army." - Boba Fett. (I think)

Piranha: I didn't notice. Those do look like new blasters. *wub* If only they were in black...

One Mandalorian is an army. Lets face those guys are gods of the universe of Star Wars

Armor is de-volving. Boba Fett can with stand a blow with a saber but can clones, not really

To follow up on Ashoka's pic posted above, here is what I found on Star Wars.com

In 2008, Star Wars: The Clone Wars expands the Star Wars universe with plenty of surprises. This week, Lucasfilm begins offering a glimpse at some of these surprises during the annual Toy Fair events around the world. As it unveiled many of its upcoming toys and collectibles, including those from the Clone Wars TV series, among the familiar characters like Obi-Wan, Anakin and Yoda is a mysterious new Padawan named Ahsoka Tano.

This young Togruta is eager to prove herself as a worthy Padawan to her bold Master, Anakin Skywalker. Able to wield a lightsaber and pilot a spacecraft with great talent, Ahsoka promises to become a worthy Jedi.

There is much more to learn about Ahsoka and the role she plays in the epic Clone Wars adventures and the Star Wars saga. Keep checking StarWars.com as more news comes to light about the series and this intriguing new Padawan.

Enjoy ;-)

I,m really not sure how i feel about anakin having a padwan, to me that just seems to make little sense *wacko*

Sure he became a knight but would he have a learner so soon?

Anyway the character looks interesting, lets hope legos version looks good close up.

Ahsoka.jpg

well that explains why her head seems so flat in the mini fig pic

I don't know about that character, but she looks very cool, although I would have prefered to see a regular Shaak Ti

I'd have thought some random Mando guy said a hundred Mandos are an army, but Boba came back and said one Mando is an army. That would've made more sense. Oh, and Boba's armor and that of other Mandalorian Super-commandos are made of something found on Concord Dawn, whereas clone troopers armor is made of plastoid, like Stormtroopers. ;-)

It makes very little sense that Anakin has a padawan. Vey little sense indeed. |-/ Good call on that one George.

That Ashoka pic does look very nice however. :-)

No Jedi Knights can have Padawans as shown in episode I where Obi-One becomes a Jedi Knight and takes Anakin as his Padawan.

Anakin was no longer a Padawan when his braid thing was cut off in the original Clone Wars TV micro-series. I think it's safe to say that something happens to her because there's no sign of her in Episode 3. So it really does make sense that Anakin would have a Padawan during that time period.

That's right. Who was that?

Actually, Boba's armor is Durasteel, not the real "Mandametal", as the nickname says. The metal's name is "Beskar" or something...

The Republic Gunship figure list clearly reads 'Commander Cody'. He just looks like an orange version of Rex if you ask me.

Oh yea, and those are definantly new gun molds that they are carrying. My guess is they are DC-17s Blaster Pistols. If lego can just make Clone Commandos and DC-17m's, I'd be on cloud 9. Not that I'm not already, of course. *wub*

Holly Crap !!

Tks so much for making my day Clonecommando007 *sweet*

The vehicles are really well done !! Superb !!

The real plus lies in the figs, they are just stunning (I'm kind of drooling now !!)

From the ATTE:

* That baby hutt is freaking sweet !!

* Ashika is better than expected !!

* Rex has a new armor and legs parts !! 501st printing !!

From the Magna guard fighter:

* look at those guards 8-
