Vader Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Well I do have problems with the bley handles |-/ Its okie for the regular one since I still have loads of chrome ones, but I'm pissed with the new Asijj handles !! Chrome and acrtoonie don't go well together heheOK so what are the sets we still need to see ? 2 droids one so here is a chance for a new GG (keeping my fingers crossed !!) 2 Republic sets: I doubt the twilight will have a jedi in it but I'm confident we'll have a commander and jedi with the TX-130. Now what Jedi are the most well known to fans: Ki Adi Mundi, Shaak Ti & Aayla Secura. And add to the list Luminara Unduli & Saesee Tiin. My interrogation also is the following: since TLC offers us loads of jedi (finally !!), will they do the same with OT bounty hunters ?? *yoda* The twilight will be interesting to see, seeing as we don't have any idea what it could be. Having a new and better GG would be sweet but i really dobt lego will make a new one anytime soon. As for the other jedi, well all are welcome IMO. I just wonder what they would all look like, the ones in the game were great but as lego are not doing those we could end up with some strange figs. Bounty Hunters on mate!! Oh how i want a Bossk or 4-lom.

Previous CW jedis are really tied with the PT but who knows what the new CW will have as jedi. Strange figs are always welcome though hehe. That baby hutt fig is really sweet and I ouldn't mind having other weird creatures like that X-D For now it seems that my theory was right and I'm really happy about it not from an ego point of view but from a Lego fan poin of view :-P : the jedi that appear in thepT are not cartoonie (like Plo Koon) and the one that appear in the CW3 solely are cartoonie (like Ashoka and Asijj) - lets hope that trends will persist ;-) *yoda*

LEGO, in their infinite wisdom (well...) knows that they can rerelease Plo Koon later in a ship based set or something. I think we can credit the non-cartoony nature to the fact that it's a sculpted head and not a print. What we have to hope is that they don't make Ki Adi Mundi for CW at all, or we'll probably never see a normal one. Reason? Regular head. On the other hand, we get that new apprentice girl who isn't Shaak Ti, because they know that the headpiece can be used later for a PT version of her. LEGO is finally catching on to the double duty policy I keep talking about. Let's hope they continue thinking this way and produce mostly new figures with sculpted heads instead of too many prints and we'll do well. Now Asijj actually has to appear cartoony. She doesn't exist in any other form. It's that or nothing. Oh, and *vader*, you keep hoping for 4-LOM and Bossk (what about poor Zuckuss?) and I'll keep hoping for Dr. Evazan and Ponda Baba and one Bith musician (from which the whole band could be made).

Makes me want to order the Ep III Obi and look at him for a whole day, to forget the horror of his CW version. Could it be? Am I the first person to be enthusiastic about the CW figs at first but turned off by them as I see more pics?

In the smaller pics I sort of imagined the clones to be closer to other clones lego had produced but with added features. Now they seem more cartoon-like. I guess this is good for consistency and after all they come from a cartoon. I just hope it's a look to appeal to kids. But hey, it's saving me some money and plenty of people here feel enthusiastic. Thankfully there are plenty of other great Lego sets coming to choose from in a variety of themes.

Yeah it's wierd that. I got a chrome one with the motorised AT-AT. I thought the Twilight was the craft anakin is seen flying near the end of the trailer.
