sam89 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Well Jeremy on Rebelscum confirmed that the prices were real.
The Kid Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Well Jeremy on Rebelscum confirmed that the prices were real. Bugger. Although someone on FBTB suggested this: I suspect they've confused
sam89 Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Although someone on FBTB suggested this:Which I hope is true... TK Yeah, me too. It seems weird that a set priced $119.99 would cost

Kahgarak Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 The whole "anime" clone wars range is growing on me Yes, I think it looks great, shame it's fleshie though, they would have made great extra Exo Force heads.
Tarfful Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 (edited) Well Jeremy on Rebelscum confirmed that the prices were real. First reaction: Bloody Hell!!! Second Reaction: Oh well a small price to pay, well not really X-D, for such great Lego sets and minifigs. Bugger.Although someone on FBTB suggested this: Which I hope is true... TK Oh I hope you're right that way it would be much cheaper for us US citizens! Yay *sweet* , if it is true. General Tarful Edited February 6, 2008 by GeneralTarful
Vader Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 GeneralTarful can you do me a favour and please reduce the size of your sig, it's far to big at the moment.
Shacala Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Ouch. Perhaps with recession on its way in US they know that other AFOLs will buy them no matter what. Either people will most likely be spending less in the US on luxury items (I think these could count in this case) maybe they are gambling on the core AFOLs buying no matter what the price is. On the other hand it doesn't take a genius to figure out that alot of people loved the RGS and that many people have expressed their desire to have a remake done. Premium on demand? Personally to me it looks like the Torrent and Magna are about $15 overpriced, AT-TE is about $20 and the RGS I would say is about $25 over. What is really weird to me is that we are not seeing any of the cheeper price points ($15-$35) that many people (my self inculded) would buy on a whim. Any prices yet for the other sets? These prices would seem more realistic if the other sets are in the 15-25 whim zone.
Big Pete Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 (edited) Either they've mixed up Euros and Dollars or TLG has finally decided to make their pricing strategy fairer for all geographies. The Edited February 6, 2008 by Big Pete

Tarfful Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 GeneralTarful can you do me a favour and please reduce the size of your sig, it's far to big at the moment. Small enough for you *vader* ? I hope that they have just mixed up the Euro/USD prices, that way it makes more sense and is cheaper, for me. X-D General Tarful
xwingyoda Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 I'm sure they mixed the prices ;-) That RGS costs the same as the MTT (I paid 10

Fordo Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 Yes these prices are definately wrong, the person mixed up the Euro and Dollar sign. It just wouldn't be like lego to release part of a line without anything under $50.
MiniGreavy Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 What a year, lot of EU sets with high prices. :-X I'm quite disappointed. My last hope are the UCS, but it seems they aren't OT too... Unfortunately... |-/
