This website gives US prices for the new sets. One word: ridiculous.
“In August it’s all about ‘Clone Wars.’ Inspired by the television series, the four new sets will bring to life the story and introduce new characters as minifigures. Included in the line up are: V-19 Torrent (SRP: $44.99), MagnaGuard Starfighter™ (SRP: $54.99), AT-TE Walker (SRP: $89.99) and the Republic Gunship (SRP: $119.99).”

What the hell are the prices going to be like in Europe?!

Thanks sam for the possible prices and the great pics! *sweet* I can guess what the Australian prices will be; x2. |-/ The good thing is I expected that and had already decided that I will have to pass on both the RGS and AT-TE. $180 and $240 is just too much. :'-( Even if that is wrong and they do end up being $160 and $200 it's still too much.

The V-19 looks alot better then before and the AT-TE looks so cool.

The rgs is great with that doors.

Great new pics Sam *y* the more i see of the RGS the more i can't wait to have it. I'm still not sure how i feel about the V-19, something about it just fails to capture my attention :-/

I really love the AT-TE !! I totally dislike the first version for some reasons bu here Lego did a great job capturing its shape !! Also colour wise its way neater, none of these trand green parts :-D

Seems that the V19 doesn't have any system for the wings to open up which seems really pretty cool !! no wheels to turn and stuff like that ! Tks pneumatic pumps :-D

And that RGS is just a thing of beauty !!!

Not at all, I have no desire to modify my post at all! :-D Please don't jump to conclusions as I read the whole lot. Did you read all of my post? X-D As I said "Even if that is wrong" which was referring to the lack of clarity with what is the real price. I still think that the Australian price for the RGS will be between $200-$250 but I would love oh so much to be wrong.

hmm mayby..i don't know it depends what my money status is in winter and as for the AT-AT I don't have either the motorized or the old one..

would you buy it for $200?

Probably not. $150-$180 AUD would make it reasonable for me. I am trying to limit my full price set purchases this year and focus on sale sets. For example I wanted the Hailfire droid set but decided that $40 AUD was too much for it.

yea the halfire was a bit expensive, i might get it on sale, but i probably wont even get RGS being that i *wub* it and a lot of other big sets but i live in a small house and a fairly small room |-/ anyway i guess i'll wait and see...

They have changed in the past, but you are obviously right that this is as good as we will get for a while. I hope that Lego read this discussion and change the prices! But I do think that enough has been said in this topic to highlight the probably error.
