I'm not sure though, I think it could be something different Its a possibility with the popularity of the x wing and the Hoth Base but that could be a (OT only most likely) tie rerelease but we all have alot of em and any way if we get it I hope it is GOOD.

First of all a simple question in order to avoid mismisunderstandings: You didn't mean the new 10188 DS set? (I know that this is a very corny question but in some way a DS playset is a re-release of a DS UCS set, too.) If it's not the new 10188 DS set then I speculate about a re-release of the TIE collection. My reasons for why I think something like this will be re-released by TLG are that it was a very interesting set and TIE Fighters haven't been released for now 3 years. I don't think that it'll be a Rebel Fighter (e. g. a X-Wing) because you are still able to buy them. I must regrettably say that I am - at least at the moment - not so about a re-release because I own most of the most important fighters from the OT. I would have prefered to get a Tantooine with a bantha and some tusken raiders. Consequently I hope that TLG at least will include some new minifigures and a new transport vehicle etc. in that set in order to make it handsome.

I kinda hope that we get new Tie Fighters.....but.....we all (that by I mean us cooco star wars fans of 1999-20--) have like 3 Tie-s or more but it would be good to have new model like a Tie Transport or something. The DS could (and I hope not) be the rerelease. I wish it's a cool new Tie or Rebel Ship (X-wing) as in my previous post. And Klaus-Dieter I wish upon a star that there would be---the bantha with tuskens!

So thinking about which other things there might be: -I do not think that it'll be a re-release of the Hoth Base because TLG would surely not make a surprise out of it if they release again some more of the last year's Hoth Rebel Base. -I'm sure that it'll be no new Hoth Base and no new Y-Wing Fighter since we got them already last year. So what is left? -Imperial Shuttle? - do not think so -A-Wing or B-Wing????? - B-Wing was released in 2006 and A-Wing is not that popular and big enough for an Exclusive ... By the way: Commandosevy, I think that a Tatooine set with a bantha and some tusken raiders is not too far away. Only think about if TLG includes a Landspeeder in this set they could name it "Landspeeder" - OK, that's not really convincing - but if they include the Mos Eisley Cantina in this set they could name it "Mos Eisley Cantina" - and consequently it would be a re-release . No, I'm not joking - the more I think about it the more supposable it seems to become. And since someone wrote last year here on EB that he reminds of his friend told him that ther'll be a set with a bantha and some tusken raiders in summer 2008 - and I think that re-releases of OT vehicles will surely come next year (10 years SW Lego!!!) and the years after that (since we do not know if Lego SW continues after 2011). Pod Racers Although This one would be highly unlikely this year, I would think they would do it next year for a 10th anniversory set. Blockade Runner AAT Besides those I don't know what else hasn't been done recently and might be possiably be popular enough to warrent a re-release. I thought it might be a possiability of Vader's Tie Non UCS, but since there isn't a Tie that wouldn't make sense. All of these are just purely speculation of course

Fin or no fin, you might aswell put it movie accurate or non-movie accurate, and in the past TLG has always stuck to movie accuracy. Sure I mean we've had random Jedi and Clones in sets that they didn't belong in but the details on all TLG's minifigs seem to be very loyal to the movies.-Tarfful Accuracy you say? So that explains the AT-AT drivers helmet being a re-painted stormie one? Our perhaps the re-painted Tie Pilots helmet? Our perhaps the fact that General Veers dosen't have a new face? and i wont even go into the colours on c3p0 or r2. Get where i'm going here? Lego dosen't care about minor differences, one of the first rules of business is to cut any unwanted spending. That's why lego dosen't do minor details like fins unless they really have too. Oh and cut the wacko crap or else.

Hmmm well a ATT would be good but a jabba's palace if done right could be fantastic!! I have long wanted a bigger and much better one than the first, that was such a let down.

Ah okie tks for refreshing our memories Klaus !! Like Vad I totally missed that info So my speculations were all correct but 1 hehe Great to see another OT set !! This year was really not fantastic at all !! Only 2 BPs and nothing else !! I think its fair to assume it will be an exclusive set ? I wanted an Endor Bunker set (like the Hoth base) but thats too early to see Do we know when is that set due ?

I WONDER what is steff's source if TLC does rerelease a set then it will be a Endor set most likely TLC hasnt released one of those lately well the (speeder bike kinds).

I think i will wait for some sort of picture proof or official release.... Dreaming on!
