I think it's time to get some Alfa Romeo, Fischer, Subaru and Tesla sets :pir-love:

It would be grat if Lego obtained the licences for these car brands, there are some great cars from those companies that would be popular.

I would like to see the Speed Champions theme line expanding to more than 6 sets a year. It would be nice if we had just 8 nothing to mad there is more than enough world wide famous and iconic cars to use

Personally, if I was a developer, I would build a

1)Audi e-Tron GT

2)Lamborghini SC20

3)BMW 2021 M4 and M8 GTE

4)Masarati MC 20 and MC12

5)Mercedes S Class saloon

6)Koenigsegg Gemera and one:1

7)Ferrari 296 GTB

8)Mclaren Sabre

9)Mercedes AMG one

10)Bentley Continental GT

11)Nissan 400z and 240z

12)Lamborghini Huracan STO

13)Mclaren GT

Definitely supporting Mclaren GT the most!

Can't wait!

(Who realised speed champions have not done any BMW before?)

Honestly, I don't think that the F40 would come out as it already did for 2019 models

but overall good list!

Something I’ve thought of - seeing as all the new speed champion sets come with a helmet a hair piece (awesome), I kind of feel like getting the same helmet over again is a bit boring, e,g the Jesko, elva and Supra all have black helmets. I think it would be awesome to have each set come with a decorated helmet to match the Minifigures attire/racing suit, such as having racing livery or the brand logo printed on it. I think that would add a touch more “specialness” to the sets!
What do you guys think of this idea?

Amen!    That would be Sweeeeet.  Would make the series more lucrative.

That would be a great little addition that, we have seen printed helmets before so we know it can be done. Lego have the vehicle manufacturer licence so they can use the logo however they feel I would imagine.

Am I the only one who would love an updated version of the 75913 Ferrari Truck?

It would obviously have to be a more expensive set but I think they could make it look pretty great if they went 10 wide to match the new 8 wide cars.  (75913 was 8 wide if I remember correctly)

That would be amazing!

Peugeot just revealed the 9x8 Hypercar for Le Mans 2022. I think this would make a great set for next year’s wave.

I need this. Bricklink

Doesn't matter in what kind of car...

I would like to, but they are unlikely to do it, because I suspect that Lego is already designing sets for 2022 from May.

They're more likely to use toyota's license and make a Toyota GR010 Hybrid.

I wrote LEGO ages ago about this. "Item is suspended to make place for new parts! But if you want there is 18974 in this colour" oh no dear LEGO, everything is not awesome at all... hope in some new ferraris please...

I know this might be a bit early but after my recent visit to the Goodwood Festival of Speed yesterday, I think I may have come up with a potential 2023 wave as a sequel to my 2022 wave.

Here goes:

That's all I have for now. It's just a bit of brainstorming. Let me know what you think.

Yes!!! These could even be in the 2022 wave!

Any Le Mans LMP1/Hypercar Will be welcome.

I see a lot of your proposals too round and aerodynamic to be build with LEGO bricks. The more square the better. Audi quattro was perfect. Lancia Deltona or 037 will fit as well.

How about for a 2-pack:

Mercedes AMG G63 and AMG GTR?

My humble wish to TLG: choose vehicles whatever you want but put some more effort and make headlights from bricks instead of stickers FGS.

Agreed, so many cars this year could've been made with brick-built headlights. For example, the Jesko, Supra, and GT.

Maybe the only way TLG can get customers to continue buying their Speed Champions is with stickers. Without stickers, Speed Champions are like every other car moc on the Internet. They probably figure people can mod the sets to have brick-built headlights after building the set.

A really squary car that would fit Lego well: 1974 BMW CSL 635i IMSA

And a Peugeot 206 rally would be awesome...

Agreed.

I'm hoping for more street cars - like the Supra and the F8 Tributo.  I prefer them as it is, and they also have fewer stickers which is always a bonus.
