Wait, “all gay themed Lego sets”? You mean, there are more sets (beside Everyone is Awesome” and “Queer Eyes” sets)?

The wedding Brickheadz were separated out by Mr Ashton because he wanted gay couples, he also put rainbow tiles in the Trafalgar Square set in a node to Gay Pride. This has all been explained in an interview he did, this isn't me inferring stuff. I don't think the Lego group did anything for Gay Pride until Mr Ashton came along, and I think now it is expected of all employees (at least in the London head office, not retail) to take part in Pride etc.

But the two sets Everyone is Awesome and Queer Eye are the out-right gay sets.

Ah okay. Thank you. I was not aware about the wedding Brickheadz stuff. But I did know there are rainbow tile in Trafafalgar Square. Not to mention, w have Bear Costume Guy from CMF Series 19 came with rainbow tile. I’m not sure that minifigure does represented gay community but to me it does.

Well, I would like gay themed Lego sets in future!I mean I am a  with sexual fluid so i will say yes to that idea. :)

If that is true, no wonder the original founders / activists are turning their backs on the corporate event it has become and instead doing Reclaim Pride. Employees should not be expected to take part in Pride events as part of corporations, they should be there out of choice if they want to attend. So many companies use it as a marketing carnival now, and if it is just another marketing event with rainbows more to promote the sponsoring companies' products than promote any political change then it has pretty much lost all meaning.

You can build the Everyone is Awesome LEGO set, then eat a LGBT (lettuce, guacamole, bacon and tomato) sandwich from M&S and wash it down with a rainbow Coca-Cola, while wearing a GANT rainbow rugby shirt over another branded rainbow T-shirt from loads of different companies, same with trousers, rainbow Adidas trainers, rainbow underwear from HUGO BOSS, and Pride perfume from JPG ...

Latest rumour is this will be out in October. Although I don’t think the apartment is a memorable location, the show is wholesome and feel good, and it’ll be nice to have another living space with some unique figs. Tan France and his quiffed hair looks great.

For sure, the Loft set basically changes every series. I think that means they will be quite generic in the set we get, albeit with some key series details. Can’t wait for the set.

What do we think for the other hairpieces? I'm guessing JVN will have Phoebe's hair in brown, Antoni will have the Cedric Diggory or the spiky hairpiece, and Bobby will have the spiky hairpiece OR a new moulded hat piece.

Karamo has to be in a bomber jacket!

Yes to all of this. Antoni could use a few different hairpieces but I think it will be the now-standard swept back hair. Will JVN get a skirt?

I’d also guess that Karamo has a baseball cap. plus hoping Bruley the French Bulldog is included.

In the spirit of the set I hope JVN is given a skirt.

Same. JVN will be the first ‘canon’ non-binary Lego character, right? And given their normal attire, and the fact that minifigs don’t get high heels. I think a skirt is a good compromise.

You make a good point about minfigures don’t getting high heels. But what about printed heels? Take a look at Queenie from Harry Potter CMF Series 1.

If they choose one of the apartments from the show (which i'd hazard would be what they'd do), I hope they pick the Philadelphia series. A nice historic looking  brick house in Old City Philadelphia with the ktichen and living room "set" on the first floor. This would make it great for making Moc's and making it modular.

Not sure how helpful this info is but the set will be 48cm x 28cm x 9cm

Excited to see how this one turns out

Thats quite big! I was expecting it to be smaller than the Central Perk set.

Is this set size or box size?

The 9cm thing makes me thing of box size cause it would be a too narrow set.

Now you've mentioned that the dimensions are from a retailer website so it probably is the box

Also Queer Eye will be revealed this week

So I guess that was for the apartment after all. When that piece first leaked I thought it could be for the rumored Peach's Castle, but now that the Mario D2C has been revealed as something else it makes sense that it's for the apartment.

Never watched the show myself but I am curious to see the final product. I'm imagining something similar to the Seinfeld/Friends sets.

I've been struggling to get the sitcom scene sets. I have Central Perk, because it's cool and a good playset (my five year old enjoys it), but they take up so much space. But then I saw LegoArtisan's Sit-Complex and thought it was a great way to incorporate them all. I've spent the last month or so gathering pieces, but then new floors keep getting added as more sets are released. I'm hoping they'll put Queer Eye into this too. It's a nice way to preserve most of the original sets, while being able to stack them so they don't take up all the space. Visibility into each floor is good too. But now that it's starting to get really tall I may need to modify it further to make the left side look nicer higher up, as it will be visible.

So I guess the black box isn’t gay enough LEGO? Lol don’t get me wrong I hate the black boxes but it seems to me LEGO is kinda admitting with this that the black boxes lack any style and are void of any charm

Wow they're actually advocating swapping hands between different torsos? I thought that was an official LEGO no-no!

Yeah very interesting about the packaging too. Why couldn't they do that for some of the other properties that really needed more life in their packaging, like Winnie the Pooh and Sesame Street. Hopefully this is a step in that direction for future products and not a one off.

Overall, looks like I expected. I've never watched the show, but it's a nice lofty looking loft. A bit more rectangular than the other TV show-set sets thus far.

Loving all the new torso prints we are getting, and face prints with stubble. Definite standouts for me and may have to pick a lot of these pieces up for MOCs.

Not a fan of the overall layout, it feels really boxed in at the back, and a weird shape overall. The couch area is a bit too cramped I think but I am nitpicking.

I might just have to order pieces from this on BrickLink as I don't think I can justify the full cost. Which is a shame as I want to support the set but I can't justify it

edit: the more i look at it the more my mind changes, think might be one to buy with my bf and build together rather than front the cost entirely lol!
