June 15, 20213 yr Driving performance seems pretty good! But I really dislike the use of the wheel arch panels on this car. You can't just take wheelarches that curve inwards and use them in a flat side! Of course it is going to look weird...

These panels are used to replicate the deepenings in the body, same as the reverse ones put on doors. I find it the best solution.

I am not saying it isn't possible, I am saying you can't do it and expect it to look proper. It might be my perception or whatever, but imo the sunk in bodywork created by the curved wheel arched are not present on the real car. Yes, there is a set-back bodyline running across the side of the car, but it is very very shallow on the real car, and shaped nothing like this. June 15, 20213 yr I rather like this. The clam shell bonnet and rear lights are instantly recognisable and I personally think the reversed panels and arches work well to recreate the original lines. I prefer my 4x4s Japanese but my brother had a V8 one of these and it was a beast!
June 15, 20213 yr Looks good but I’m bit sure it’s a Range Rover. You need to have a flatter bonnet by removing the pane pieces for your front wings. Also the front looks too short. But a great model nether the less
June 15, 20213 yr Generally reminiscent of the original, albeit will have to admit that imho the inversed panels and wheelarch elements... do not look good, with the latter being an eyesore. A "flat" look would´ve objectively been much better. Nonetheless, considering that the PF elements are well integrated, it is a good looking model overall (ignoring the aforementioned issues). Great use of the 2x3 mini panel as well.
