Just watched the trailer.

I almost creamed. Its on Starwars.com.

Gameplay have it for a penny cheaper, and I've used them before and they're really good.

Sometimes (and its happened for my brother more times than it hasn't) you get the game early.

Postage is also 99p, (MUCH cheaper than Amazon).

I have bought from them a lot of times, and it usally take 4-5 days for the package to arrive.

Aw nuts, and I still have a couple days to go :P

I'm very eager to crack into this one. My wife brought home the first one last year when the original Trilogy came out on DVD and we both played the crap out of it for several months straight.

Also, with it coming out on the same day as Episode III on DVD, gave me just enough of a reason to use some of my vacation time and take all of next week off from work. 7 whole days to do nothing but play.

Obsessive? Yeah, probably nuts.GIF

I pre-ordered the game from Gameplay this Friday, who usually send the game a day early (But it being a weekend couldn't) and then went and then when I went to a gameshop AND THEY HAD IT!!!

But I was restrained and I'll wait until Monday.

Has anyone seen this? Click videos, then Franz Ferdinand Take Me Out.

My friend got this and we played it multiplayer and 4-man glactic conquest. I am not overly impressed but it was fun. Space battles are a little lack luster. I am awful with dual analog so I can't aim very well and that limits my fun but It is pretty solid. I wish the big ship had more stuff on them to blow up and more than one way to take them out.

I wouldn't buy this game unless you really like star wars or unless you can play with friends.

I've been playing it pretty solid for almost 2 weeks now and I must say I love it as much as the first. A lot of the new additions are great and I've even developed a fondness for the at first under-whelming space battles. Now they're pretty fun for me, but I wish the space battles were based on unit and starship elimination, and not just a points system. It sort of bothers me that the battle can cut out while the enemy cruiser is still there holding atmosphere in. Although I absolutley HATE how the story missions are set up...

1) YOU are the only trooper who can do anything. You can have 30 guys standing around a command post, and it won't get captured until you do it. Plus, half the time you're off trying to capture one of the bloody things, and your teammates are nowhere to be seen, so you keep getting mobbed.

2) Speaking of mobbed, your reinforcements are strictly limited while enemies constantly respawn with no limit...which makes it particuarly hard when trying to capture one of those command posts by yourself >:(

3) Shoot anything...Acklay, Jedi, Trooper, and the thing turns and heads right at you. It'll pass 74 other guys just to come all the way across the battlefield to get you, it's especially annoying with those god-modding Jedi...luckily I learned if you flatten their megablocks with a friggin' tank it makes things a little easier

But overall, I'm digging it, just what I was hoping for nuts.GIF
