Zaria's blade knocks back the stowaway's dagger as it swings for her stomach, a move she normally relegated for ranged fire. She grimaced at the lack of rifle fire behind her.

"We need to remove Abam from the battlefield, now! I cannot take another hit like that lightly. Yelana, I need your help or I will fall."

If the stowaways want to fire their gun, they need to back up, away from my weapon. I am not letting that happen, not without a fight at least. We have these two locked into combat with me. We need to remove one of them, preferably Abam, as soon as possible, otherwise we run the risk of another rally next round.

Part of me wants to invoke another ward, part of me wants to crack open this Energy Cell. Soren, if you want to move behind me, I can attempt to invoke a Searing Flare to cover your retreat. It's up to you."

Soren glances behind him for a moment in disquiet before turning back to Zaria.

I 'preciate the concern, but all the same, I say we take out this one as fast as we can. Assuming our ever-polite spy falls in line, we ought to be able to down him right away.

MM Note: There currently isn't a mechanical system for called shots (disarming attacks, limb specific shots, etc.). So we'll treat this mechanically as a normal attack and if you happen to actually reduce him to 0 HP we'll describe the fiction as him losing his weapon and no longer being able to keep fighting.

Zaria winces as the dagger finds its way in between her armour. She pushes her foe back and regains her stance. The lack of blood in her mouth was a good initial sign.

"Good shooting, Yelana. We are making progress.

We need to deal with Abam. We could all attack individually, or we could attempt to rally. Soren, what are your thoughts on rallying Yelana?"

OOC: Math time.

Rallying Yelana gives her four dice to potentially hit and an additional two guaranteed hits with her calibrated rifle. Abam's defence roll is two dice. We already have the possibility of Abam rolling two successes on his defence roll covered by the calibrated rifle's auto successes, so we have a 50% chance of Yelana killing Abam in that scenario. This is obviously worst case scenario. Best case scenario is Abam fails both of his defence rolls and Yelana just smokes him with the rifle's auto hits.
