For the others I think we should just contrate our attacks on the Tank Creature. I guess Felix and Varen should move to a optimal attack range for the Tank. As for Lars I could eventually move to deal with him and if necessary stabilizing him.

 

Made sure she had a Nanite Elixer ready to used if need to be.

Things go rather poorly for the heroes as they nearly all take damage and fail to make a dent in their enemies' defenses. Polaris manages to snap Felix out of his stupor with the aid of the elixer but takes quite a beating from the creature and the Thudaal as he repositions. Varen tries to make space away from the tank, but feels a gravimetric pull from the psionic powers of the creature yanking him back to the tank. The feeling of dread washes over Polaris, but both Varen and Felix resist the creature's mental assault steeling their minds and readying for another attack. A voice echoes in all of their minds:

"Much better!", Felix exclaimed as the intruding presence vanished from his mind.

"We'll need some sort of strategy if we're to come out on top of this. Any ideas?", the Chimeran queried his partners, as he fell back to D4 and fired a shot at the tank. "Varen, if you can, try to fall back as well! Polaris, I'll need you to Rally me next turn. We'll need to help each other to deal with the creature."

The heroes strategize a little more efficiently as Polaris deals with Lars and Felix retreats to a safer distance. Varen holds his nerve but can't seem to keep a bead on the squirming creature and his shot goes wide. Lars swings back at Polaris but the Chimeran's thick mech plating deflects the strike.

Shouldn't I have one less Nanites Elixer? 

For everyone else probably should concentrate on the Tank Creature. If it is going to do what I think it will do, it probably won't attack us for a round. Besides our Skills are higher than it's Skills so we should have an easier time hitting it with our attacks. As for Lars we are probably going to have a heck of a time trying to even hit him. So I guess we should try to avoiding him. And hope when the creature goes down he will snap out of his possession.

All this started when Felix "open environmental filter". So let's "close environmental filter" and see what happens. Are the "containment restraints" open or closed right now? 

We should still try to figure what the "restricted access system" does it might out right kill this thing.

"Nah, damn it! No, no, no!," Felix exclaimed as he saw Varen fall down, ignoring the fact he got wounded himself. "Alright, Polaris, try to shut the Environmental Filter again. However, if it fails, I think we'll need to regroup next (turn). If we don't work together, we'll get picked off one by one."

Felix falls back to C4 and shoots the tank creature.

Tank Creature - Stunned

Polaris turns the environmental filters back on. The subduing compounds begin to restrain the creature but it continues to resist. Felix rolls back to further himself from the monstrosity before firing off a shot into its carapace. Polaris tries to duck as the possessed Agent Lars lunges at him to drive him away from the controls.

So, what do you think I'd do best this turn? Move closer to Varen and try to stabilize him or just continue to attack the creature until it's dead?

OoC:

You could move closer to Varen and still attack the Tank Creature. I was planning to try to stabilize Varen next turn. I think right now it is best to try get rid of the Tank Creature. Right now Lars is not even hurt and at this point I get the feeling it is and up hill battle if we focus on Lars at to this point.

Tank Creature - Stunned

The environmental filters manage to keep the creature stunned for another few moments as both Polaris and Felix try and kill the creature as quickly as they can. Lars moves forward and blasts holy light in front of Felix's vision temporarily blinding him.

Better get you stabilize, again. Try to stabilize Varen. 

OoC:

Maybe Felix should try something else besides attacking since he is blinded for now but I don't know what.
