At last I wanted to add a new vehicle to my 1:1,500 scale collection (the others are the Omega Class Destroyer and Hyperion Class Cruiser from "Babylon 5", the X-303 and BC-304 from "Stargate" and the Corvette Class Transport from "Starship Troopers").

The Project Insight advanced helicarrier from "The Winter Soldier" is an updated version of the helicarrier from "The Avengers" and features Stark repulsor engines, several insanely big guns and a surveillance dome at the belly. The dark red markings identify it as IN-02.

Fortunately blueprints of a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier resin model are available so it was quite easy the get the correct shape and proportions. But as there are only contradictory size specifications around the web I scaled it by some scenes from "The Winter Soldier" that show the carrier and the quinjets.

The pics are only from stud.io because I'm still waiting for some bricks from bricklink.
