Lion King Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 Just wonder if farm subtheme will be released worldwide this year, unlike the wildlife rescue subtheme was released in Europe and, 1-2 months later, it was released more widely. I’m not sure if COVID affected distribution last year but I hope farm subtheme will be available more widely. Quote

Look at the piece count on those. Quote
Lion King Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 (edited) I just finished building Picnic in the Park set. I really like this set with two squirrels. I think it’s perfect for photography. :) However, I have a few thins that I think it should be improved. 1.) I am not sure why it should be printed 1x1 round tiles instead of acorn molds? I believe there is acorn mold from Disney CMF Series 2 (Chip and Dale). 2.) I am little surrprised that a Gardner’s cart doesn’t have a watering can yet! E canto set does have its own watering can. But I’m really happy with a yellow bike, a cute Gardner’s cart, and two squirrels. On 1/29/2022 at 10:19 AM, Poodabricks said: I'm calling it now. I am so psyched about farm animals (cow, calf, lamb, sheep, pig, and piglet)! I probalby would not buy a entire set because I don’t have any space left. Edited January 30, 2022 by DBlegonerd7 EDIT: Please disregard this - I thought it was Ann mold but it’s not jsut an entire mold. Quote

Cool! I mostly collect older buildings, which are a lot bigger and more detailed. So I definately don't have much space. Edited January 29, 2022 by Poodabricks Quote

Maple Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Good use of space in the moon station. Love the torso for the driver of the rover. Quote
icm Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 I was planning to get the lunar space station, but I wasn't a big fan of the design. Seeing these new pictures changes everything ... with the space capsule docked in front and the rocket engine on the aft end of the space station, it's no longer a mediocre modular space station, instead it's a splendid deep-space vessel for a great price. I want to send that ship to Jupiter or Saturn. Heck, maybe send it to Pluto. Oh the places you'll go! Quote

I want to send that ship to Jupiter or Saturn. Heck, maybe send it to Pluto. Oh the places you'll go! After 2nd glance at it I thought the station has nothing to offer in terms of interior (just 1 accessable room) but after watching a review from JB spielwaren - I love it. Yes it's not enough room but it seems the middle section is completely accessible for figs (where they put the big rock/asteroid in the pictures). And the figure section is just so great. I love how they built the beds. I have the same thoughts: I would love to modify it, make bigger and have a "Europa Report"- like spacecraft travelling to Jupiter or even Titan . I still really love the last space station (was it from 2019?) - if I would have gotten it I would for sure get this one and combine them together with my own builds. As it stands now unfortunately I have to reduce my Lego collection instead of getting more . If you get it please give us your report on the findings on the Jupiter or Saturn mission . TeriXeri Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 I like the trend LEGO started a bit back and continues, with the extra hairpieces for all the space people that have helmets.\ Also the more brick-built backpacks are a nice variant to the old ones. Quote
Lion King Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 Now we are talking about getting rid of some sets. It’s perfect timing for a spring cleaning! Anyways, I’m considering about getting rid of some sets to empty out space. I only collect animals, minifigures, and certain accessories instead of buying entire sets. Of course i did buy Picnic in the Park set becasut’s perfect for my lego photography. 2 minutes ago, TeriXeri said: I like the trend LEGO started a bit back and continues, with the extra hairpieces for all the space people that have helmets.\ Also the more brick-built backpacks are a nice variant to the old ones. I am busy for the next 2 weeks but PM me and maybe we can figure something out. I'll make pictures when I find time. Most of the sets are Star Wars and there's also a bunch of figures old and new.
