TeriXeri Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 (edited) Modularity of that space station is great, and it uses the same connectors as the 2019 system, it doesn't have a T-section but still can be combined with the 2019 sets to expand it, and the 2022 Moon base as well. The 2020 Ocean base also must be a good seller as it's still being sold while the rest of that theme is retired. Also the new cockpit piece can mean the space station can become a spaceship on it's own or serve as some sort of statis chamber / space police prison or whatever for Sci-Fi builds. 2019 also had spaceship parts that could connect to other rockets / space station but personally I like the new cockpit shape/color better. Maple Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 Did that German video say how many Euros the space station is? Quote

Lion King Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 I just bought “Rocket Stunt Bike” a few days ago. It was back in stock here in USA so I was able to grab it. Real neat to see a classical minifigure Rocket Racer! Quote

So we've now got two of the main Lego Racers cast that have returned (the other one being Captain Redbeard). Now we just need King Kahuka, Basil the Batlord, Johnny Thunder, Sam Sinister and Gypsy Moth to return in present day forms! LOL Quote

I really need that Captian Redbeard minifigure - I’m going to see if I can get that one off BrickLink or somewhere else. Not sure if you know about that but there will be CMF Series 23 later this year. We don’t know anything yet but there is speculation that S23 may be 90th anniveary series so we could get some classical minifigures from past themes. By the way, did you know that Johnny Thunder showed up in CMF Series in 2019? Quote

How the CMF does come with the animal. Quote

Johnny Thunder has nothing to do with City unless he does show up in City’s desert or jungle subtheme (that I ope for). Quote
LCP Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 New Unreleased Light Bluish Gray Motorcycle Fairing ShortShot, PieceNo-75522 that would probably come in Lego Stuntz bikes sets. Quote

LCP Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 I got a 40532 product provided as a promotion this time, and this product is modeled after the actual model Citroen Traction Avant, so I think it's cool. Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 (edited) I've noticed this development already last year, but looking at (not all but) the most of this year's City vehicles, it's getting even more obviously: - car doors are cancelled - cars look blocky - massive lack of details (missing lights, stickers, ...) It seems as if Lego wants to maximize its profit by going back to standards of very early City (2005-2007) or even Town Junior. That's a bad development! Do you agree with me? PS: Only compare the Great Vehicles theme from this year with the one from e. g. 2016. Edited February 7, 2022 by Klaus-Dieter Quote
Powered by Bricks Posted February 7, 2022 Author Posted February 7, 2022 OK, so a lego designer had just posted a tweet that supposedly he's designing a plane set, brick fanatics says he's working on City right now, so there's a chance of a airport wave coming soon Quote

Eaglefan344 Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Last big city cargo plane was back in 2013. They'll definitely need to make a new wing piece if it's going to support 3 engines on each wing. The last one had a ton of sagging just from 2. Quote
