Are you talking about the double loop one?? I am hoping for real loops (like hot wheels ones) hopefully its not hoops but really some loops!:)) i wonder if a stunt bike could make it (the 2 loops i mean)

Yeah’s it’s going to be crazy! I wonder if somehow they’ll use roller coaster track loop pieces because they are rumours the next carnival set will be another roller coaster but possible with a loop this time. In theory a Stuntz bike can ride on straight track (in the middle part of the track at least) granted the journey probably won’t be smooth.

The farm subtheme has returned! This is a pivotal point in City's history. We've also got a grocery store and an updated Trains subtheme as well!

I want construction back so bad! Also just an excuse to get a giant dump truck for nostalgia purposes.

That would be awesom!! We have a mobile crane and cement mixer, checked. But I need more construction sets for sure.

Or some mining subtheme.

But i often get excited about new / recolored animals like squirrels, kittens, dark orange horse, and tan sea turtle. :)

Actually the dump truck I had was from the 2012 Lego city mining, like I mean it was huge! Honestly the last mining sub theme didn’t really live up to what I thought it would be, but I want construction stuff for sure.

What if…there could be dinosaur fossils discovered at construction site? :)

in real life, woolly mammoth bones were found when workers built a new terminal to airport in Mexico.

Minion vechiles were pretty cool but it only lacked a scenery because there is no “brick-built” underground. I unless they pull build “underground” cave.

Well we did get a palaeontologist minifigure back in 2015. Perhaps a sub theme for palaeontology or archaeology?

You know, we have Jurasic World and there are few well-known fictional paleontologists. But yeah, i do agree with you on paleology or archeology.

I used to suggest my idea two years ago when it comes to museum subtheme.

For example, paleontologist discovers a fossil at construction site and needs to send it directly to a museum for some research. How can he sends a heavy fossil to a museum? Vehcile that can carries fossils! Or archeologist discovers a coffin that contains a pharaoh mummy and send it to museum via a transport vehcile.  I feel this idea should inspire young generations to be scientists (other than l astronomers or astronauts), paleontologists or archeologists. Not just police or firefighter.

New construction sets would be great! With the new road system, I think it's a better time than ever to get some sets focusing on road and bridge/overpass construction. We could get a new tower crane (perhaps using the roller coaster track pieces on its boom as trusses), a new road roller, and even some construction equipment I don't think we've ever actually seen in previous City/Town sets, like a pile driver, road grader, paving machine, and road marking machine.

I want a new ramp.
There was that one Junior City set that was a highway being constructed. It's a perfect time to do that. If Stuntz can have ramps then so can a highway system.

Just finished up the new Police Station, I actually think it's a pretty damn good set too, unlike many. Anyway something I noticed but haven't seen anyone else mention is the pile of dog poo, got a giggle out of me and makes me want to use that trick a little more often. I know I am a oddball, lol.

A Front Loader Backhoe with a Dump Truck, would be a good construction set to release. Price it around $50-60 that includes some workers, construction tools and new road plate pieces. The mobile crane is good, but the cement mixer I don't count because that was a 4+ set.

They’ve been plopping up in sets for a couple of years now.

Its a good set I'll admit. But it could be better with a few minor tweaks here and there. The prison area is a good place to start.

Mmmm, I see some new Jurassic World sets have trucks and plane. To be honest, they look great!

Picked up the new police truck yesterday, great set IMO and the egg splat launcher is fun to mess with.

Just need the right sale to come around on the new police station and I will have all the 1st half year City sets that are on my list :)

Does anyone know or could anyone guess the reason why some City sets (usually one or two) released at the same time each year have less stock in the toy market? e.g. City 60324 often runs out of stock or only very few sets are sent to each toy shop and I don't even see 60326 at all. Last year there was the same case for set 60307(rare) and 60305 (Not even seen at all in my region). Does TLG produce less of them if they are pessimistic about its sale? However, usually they are not the bad sets! On the contrary, the City set that ranks top in my mind is usually hard to find when they are freshly released. e.g. 60327 this year, I spent two trips for it, one was out of stock

At least for 60326 Picnic in the Park, Brickset has the note "An exclusive release set in many countries and not shown in the general consumer catalogue; also available from LEGO Shop At Home." I think the same goes for 60327 Horse Transporter even though Brickset doesn't have the same note for that one.

Some sets seem to only be DTC and/or retailer exclusives.

I believe that 60327 isn't DTC and/or retailer exclusives but it is obviously "hard to find" in many toy shops but it's newly released this year, I don't think this set will not sell well so Lego reduces its production. Hard to understand. 60324 is more obvious, no toy shop here sells this set, none of them have any stock left, but if it's because it sells so well they will certainly price it up but this doesn't happen here, and they welcome me to make pre-order. This suggests that Lego may deliberately produce less for some certain sets

Oh guys! I just got the new fire station! That is literally the best fire station I have seen since the 2013 set. Its actually pretty nice for a straight-to-the-point type of set. I also love the vehicles that come with it, the two different scenes where your firefighters go that come with it; whether its putting out a trashcan fire or rescuing a cat, and the break room which has a video game system instead of the usual television. I give this set a 100%.
