@DBlegonerd7 Thanks! Just trying to work out if the bright purple hair piece that has leaked could be from any other theme than HP. I'm inclined to believe that it will be despite people getting their hopes up for a Tonks with Grimmauld Place.

No problme, I was glad to help you! I have been curious about that purple hairpiece too.

I know Lego probably won't do this one and to be honest, I was also obstinate about Lego doing an Army subtheme for City. I'm speaking of focusing only on the non-violent aspect of the army such as refugee rescuing, survival kit transporting and the physical aspect of basic training. Medivacs that transport injured people can be somewhat represented here too. So without further to do, let me explain. Remember the officer exchange program episode of Lego City Adventures where Gracie Goodhart comes in from the sister city to Lego City. But we never see the sister city so let's build this subtheme around that. So this subtheme takes place during a major economic collapse in the sister city. Famine and pestilence happen in the sister city too. Mayor Fleck enlists the help of some soldiers to go and rescue the people from the sister city - which turns out not to be a lot - and brings them to Lego City where they will be much happier.

  • Refugee Transport - Following the loss of their livelihoods, several people decide to head to Lego City to pursue better lives. So, the members of the Lego City Army go to rescue them. Maybe this could come with a transport bus and a transport truck.
  • Medivac - Hunger isn't the only thing that is going on in the sister city, illness is too. The medivac comes and transports the sick refugees to the hospital. Could come with a helicopter with a winch and stretcher along with two soldiers and a sick civilian.
  • Army Ocean Vessel - NO GUNS INCLUDED!!!!! Eventually, the other refugees give up and the remainder hop on board the ocean vessel where they will be taken to the base. Includes a big ship with several soldiers and refugees.
  • Military Base The base set for this subtheme. The refugees are all rescued and can now live nice lives. Until they get on their feet, they are allowed to live on the base freely while being protected from crime by the soldiers. Includes two houses, a toll both, a jeep all supported by some road plates.

So that would be my take on an Army subtheme. It can be done without any mention of killing or war. Think of it as something like medical, coast guard and wildlife rescue put together - only as for the latter, it involves people. Not animals.

We do have Sailor from CMF years ago and it spells “Navy”. And we have Captian America and Bucky (from Marvel theme) that they came from Army and some of Marvel superhero’s us guns…. Is that violence?!

Anyway, I really like your military ideas! It’s much peaceful than going to the war.

What about Military Academy? And Drill Training? And Rescue Missions for Natural Disasters (hurricane, earthquake, etc)?!

That reminds me…. There is a sticker from Jurassic World theme. It has “Department of Fish and Wildlife” on it on vehcile.

Honestly, i think it’s neat! City needs some Fish and Wildlife Service.

When you you guys think will the dark orange horse from the horse transport become more widely available on bricklink? There is only a single One in Germany for 15 Euro. I need a few to diversify my army.

Hey guys, so I know I'm a bit late but looks like there's some information about the new trains sets

60335-Small build with a road plate and a bus (normal one this time not like the school)

60336-Similar to the previous ones, so nothing new(this is what the source says)

60337-Green Train With a BIG front

Oooooooh! I look forward to seeing the train station and the bus. First time in a WHILE where I see a public transport based set. I hope the trains themselves don't disappoint this year.

A green train is interesting as I have never seen a passenger train in green, not even in real life!

I am also glad we are finally getting a new train station, for the price, I do not think it is actually small, imagine paying 100 bucks for a small train station,a bus and a road plate!

And finally for the freight train/cargo train I am sad that the one and only piece of information just says it is similar to previous trains, I really wanted to know more about the big train, I have been thinking about we getting a cow transport carriage, like 60052.

The Passenger Train has 764 pieces.
The $70 grocery store only has 404 pieces.

Sorry but there's nothing about the piece counts of these new sets.

That information will come out one day, so we'll wait a little longer.

Very interesting to see if there are any useful stickers for transit stuff.

Anyway, where is the source of that information?

Bit offtopic, but guess this is the prototype lego used for the crane:

As far as I know, the actual model of product 60324 is LIEBHERR LTM 1045.

Would the bus be like the one from 60154?

Does 60335 contain a train and a bus then? If not, it must be a London-themed set and the bus is the rail replacement service!!
